The One Reason Why I Choose Gemini Over ChatGPT
And You Should Too!
Remember the days when we thought ChatGPT was a piece of AI sophistication?
Ah, those were the days…
But soon after OpenAI released the GPT4 model I overcame my fear and got my hands on it. And never touched anything else. Entirely convinced no other can be any better (and I tried Bard and a few others).
What was I thinking??!
And now?… Here I am, having ditched my first AI love for something shinier and arguably smarter: Gemini.
Why, you ask?
It’s like choosing between a flip phone and the latest smartphone. Both can make calls, but one definitely lets you do a whole lot more!
The one thing that causes frustration every time I use ChatGPT: no connection to the internet.
Yeah, I know: ChatGPT now uses Bing. But the results are….well, can be better.😒 And it’s not OpenAI, its Microsoft that needs to make it bettter…
But wait! That’s not what I consider the main reason.
Here it is:
Connection to All Google Apps!
Yeah, I know…
There are the plugins in ChatGPT. And also CoPilot features integrated, and Microsoft. But it’s Microsoft, and not Google.
What’s the difference?
BIG!
Five Main Points to Consider:
- Microsoft’s Bing and Google’s search engine features are nothing to compare! So the quality of the connection to the internet is beyond any comparison.
- Imagine writing SEO-optimized articles, Google-friendly!
- The translation between languages seems better.
- The link to Google Docs makes the file upload much more
- The best part: it can do Google Trends research for Google search and YouTube and even come up with ideas for most asked questions and trending topics.
It’s a huge difference.
A game changer.
Imagine this: You’re crafting a masterpiece article, and you need the latest stats, trends, and juicy internet gossip.
With ChatGPT, I’d hit a brick wall faster than you can say “outdated information.”
Or this: Want to know what’s trending on Google or the latest viral sensation on YouTube?
Gemini has got you covered. No need to switch tabs and do the thing manually.
To me, it’s like discovering you’ve been painting with watercolors when there’s an entire digital art suite.
Now, Let’s be Real.
Switching from ChatGPT to Gemini is not actually true.
Not entirely.
I use both. ChatGPT still has its spell on me with the ability to generate images and create highly personalized GPTs.
But Gemini is a keeper too. It hasn’t just changed the way I create content, it’s an upgrade!
My Final Thoughts
AI is what AI is. It can automate a lot of the boring stuff, but it cannot take the job, meaning you still need to “invent” the concept you put into writing.
It’s about integrity.
And authenticity.
People connect with people. That’s it!
