The Numbers Game

That Damned Number

Numbers to me are a nuisance. Math and I never saw eye to eye back in grammar school and high school. The only time I enjoy numbers is when I see my bank account and those zeroes are plentiful (not that that happens often tho). We have a love/hate thing going on constantly.

My favorite number happens to be 6… more specifically the number 666. Turn it upside down and you get 999 which is even better when you put a dollar sign in front of it. Yes, they say that 666 is the Devil’s number. If it is, then I’ll be damned. The reason I like that number most is because it sparks many ideas for a good story.

That could be why I hate numbers too. If it is his number then the Devil gets his due.
