Summary

The article posits that the future of humanity may be doomed to extinction due to the long-standing dominance of insensitive, oppressive forces over empathetic and intelligent ones.

Abstract

The text presents a bleak outlook on the trajectory of human civilization, suggesting that the persistent rule of violence and selfishness has overshadowed the voices of those who advocate for empathy and rationality. It argues that despite our evolution and capacity for higher intelligence, humanity has regressed to animalistic behaviors, causing the collective human soul to suffer. The author contemplates the possibility that the only path to spiritual evolution and the eradication of oppression may be through the painful lesson of extinction, which would ultimately lead to the end of life as we know it. This conclusion is drawn from the observation that efforts to educate the oppressors or to resist them with violence have proven ineffective, leaving the hope for a more enlightened humanity to be realized in a future beyond our current existence.

The Nihilistic Hope for the Future of the Human Race is Extinction

The ultimate truth, if it is the truth, is depressing.

For millennia, sensitive humans have been forced to bend to the will of the insensitive.

Anyone who feels empathy, a connection with those other people around them, anyone who recognizes that we, as humans, share many commonalities bonding us together as one human race, have been silenced.

A culture of despair, dystopia, and disconnectedness rules. The bullies, murderers, and selfish have ruled over all of us in all places since the beginning of recorded time. Women are second class citizens. The intelligent and thoughtful relegated to advisory positions never to rule.

Masochistic, toxic, masculinity and its ego focused on physical prowess and competition beats its chest imitating baboons drowning out the voices of the caring, the rational, those who reflect of the past and those who contemplate how our actions will affect our future.

We are not baboons. We are meant to be a higher, more intelligent more empathetic life form. We have evolved beyond the animal kingdom, so why do we revert to animalistic behavior for centuries?

The collective soul of the human race suffers.

An all-loving God, if such a being exists, must be bearing the weight of most of that suffering, patiently waiting for us to allow ourselves to become ourselves.

The only ways to overcome this seems to be to educate those who refuse to be educated or to lower ourselves to be as violent as those who subjugate us to their will, becoming that which we detest.

The world may have seen enough of egotistical, self-assured self-righteous warriors who would volunteer to rise up in defense of us all to overthrow our murderous despots. It doesn’t take long for us to realize that they will only claim power for themselves. The only solution then is the obvious yet painful lesson that our collective human soul will learn through extinction.

Let those who want to rape the planet and selfishly over consume its resources for themselves win.

Let them destroy our habitat, our environment and bring this abysmal failure of a human experiment to a close. Only then will they see the error of their ways.

That is the only way for our collective human soul to learn and mature. The only way to make the thugs among us value life is to ensure that life is gone, and they can never live again.

This is the stark reality that those of us inflicted with the diseases of intelligence and empathy must accept. It is either eternal oppression and enslavement under sociopathic dictators or extinction.

I prefer extinction. At least then we have the hope that humanity can evolve on higher planes of existence, leaving the hopelessness of this world and a stubbornly stupid humanity behind.
