The new Bing Search Engine is really big indeed — here’s what’s new
Why Google has a Reason to worry
Microsoft and OpenAI are currently the talk of the town and it has already been announced that Microsoft wants to integrate ChatGPT into its services such as Bing.
Microsoft now offers an update of the Bing search with ChatGPT technology as well as an integration of the AI tool in Microsoft Edge for testing. There is a long waiting list and only a few interested people have been let through so far. Here are the first insights into how Microsoft wants to become a threat to Google and what the service can now do.
Right now, you will need Microsoft’s Edge browser to do this, Chrome or Firefox don’t work with the new Bing search. Nice looking and a great experience is the integration of ChatGPT in the sidebar and the Revised Bing Home Page with Ask Me Anything.
You can then not only chat with search, but also let the AI interact with web pages.
What Microsoft is hard at work on here is likely to be the future of search and also a look at how we create content with the help of AI in the future.
One may now ask what the difference of the new Bing is to Google Search. At first glance not so much, since the search results are displayed as normally. The great strength here is the fact that you can easily ask a follow-up question. Furthermore, the results are also enrichened with numerous sources that can be easily recognized in the search results.
