The Neon colours and Plastic dreams

why I won’t be watching bollywood movies for some time

I don’t watch movies. There’s a strong reason for that. I can’t sit at one place for three hours without drifting towards words. The only time I watch a movie is when we are travelling because I am too distracted to read and too busy people watching, but you can’s do too much of people watching because then they become conscious.

Coming back to today’s post I won’t be watching Bollywood movie for some time and there’s a strong reason for that. The actors whom I love to watch they are not there now, it’s just star kids who are acting in movies which I fail to understand.

Last week happening can be the reason too, some things will affect you for life and I think the same happened to me.

While travelling I would search for regional movies with subtitles that’s how I watched Telugu, Tamil and Bengali movies and got to know other actors and maybe saw the glimpse of that other world. The inquisitiveness to know more about my country, the festivals, tradition and the various other things was another reason for me to drift to those other languages. It’s still the same. Now if there is that need to watch something I browse movies in other languages and thanks to Netflix and other streaming apps there are nice movies there.

Bollywood glitter in your light and make people fool with neon colours and plastic dreams. For me its the colour of the earth which speaks to me for me its stories which bring me fragrance from afar. Bollywood this time you have broken my heart.
