The MSM Has Created This Monster

How can our worlds be so different?

In this final week before election day 2020, Trump supporters are becoming unhinged. They are not breaking windows, burning, looting and killing. That’s someone else. I mean they have dramatically raised the bar of enthusiasm for Trump. In the four decades that I’ve been following politics, this is something we have never seen, perhaps never in America, and we should try to understand it.

Have you seen the huge boat parades with hundreds of boats dressed in patriotic attire? Have you seen the record breaking crowds at the Trump’s rallies, even bigger than Obama’s campaign rallies, and he was a very popular president? For the first time ever we have heard people at these rallies chanting “We love you” at a politician. What? What has gotten into these people that they would talk like that to any politician?

Last week, supporters say a record was broke for the longest “Trump Train.” It happened in Arizona and was reported as 96 miles long and over 10,000 cars, all of them waving flags and cheering for the camera as it drove by. Was it really 96 miles long? Probably not (the evidence can’t be on a 1-minute video) but it is impressive and it’s been happening all over America. Cuban’s in Florida, Latina’s in Texas, even Liberals in California, these Trump Trains are pulling out the stops and letting their loyalties fly, and they look very happy. This is a new phenomenon.

Now before the Liberals dismiss all this on account of brainwashing or “that’s what deplorables do,” it’s important to ask, “Why?” There are millions of smart, free-thinking people who have chosen this candidate. They can’t all be hayseed hicks “clinging to their guns and bibles,” as Obama used to say. Something bigger than 2016 has happened and we should figure this out.

The biggest contributor of this enthusiasm is actually the main stream media (MSM). Here’s why…

Liberals are getting their news from liberal sources while Conservatives are getting their news from conservative sources. Almost none of the news on either side has anything in common with the other. Even the same stories will be reported in such different ways that they have nothing in common. That’s why we live in different worlds.

This over-the-top Trump enthusiasm is the culmination of years of media bias on both sides, but it is the Liberal MSM who are the ones lacking integrity. It is they who report one thing, but we can see with our eyes that it is not true. So, in many respects, the media has created this monster. Here are some examples of what the MSM has reported compared to what Trump supporters see:

The MSM says Antifa is anti-Fascist. But Trump supporters see Antifa acting like fascists, demanding people kneel and give them black power symbols. They’re aggressively invading people’s space, starting riots, assaulting people, you know, like fascists do when they don’t get their way, like spoiled children. The media says one thing, “Antifa is just protesting,” while our eyes show us that Antifa is destroying property, so the media is dismissed.
The MSM says these protests are mostly peaceful, trying to give us the impression that Martin Luther King just marched by. Yet, Trump supporters see the burning and looting behind the reporter who is saying “it’s mostly peaceful.” It’s such a dichotomy. Trump supporters just laugh as they dismiss the media again.
The MSM says Trump called white supremacist in Charleston, NC “very fine people.” Trump supporters have watched the whole video and see that he called everyone involved “fine people” and also condemned the violence on both sides. Yet, this lie continues to circulate, even during recent debates. Every time it’s told, the media loses their credibility because everyone can see with their own eyes the whole truth.
The MSM says Trump is a racist. But Trump supporters see him exonerating blacks who’ve been unfairly sentenced in our judicial system. They see how he promoted the first black female to general in the US Marine Corp. They see pictures of Trump, both before and after his presidency, receiving awards and posing with black celebrities. He’s funding Traditionally Black Colleges and creating Opportunity Zones in poorer neighborhoods. He’s inviting black coalitions to the White House to lobby him directly. He’s smiling, hugging, and even kissing little old black ladies on the hand. Trump supporters see this and think, “That sure is weird behavior for a racist.” So the media is dismissed.
The MSM says Trump only cares about himself. But Trump supporters see him working harder for America than any president they've ever seen and he’s doing it for free. Every quarter he posts on social media a salary donation check for $100,000 to a non-profit or government program that needs more money. They know he’s a billionaire, but still, over his 4-year term, wouldn’t a selfish person take that $1.6 million for himself? So the media is dismissed.
The MSM says Trump is at fault for Covid-19 deaths. Trump supporters know that no one man can just vanquish a virus and they also see that Trump did all he could as soon as he could. He ordered a travel ban against all non-American travel from China, then Europe, even against the advice of “experts,” while Pelosi was inviting people to Chinatown. They saw Trump working with industry to resupply PPE and build ventilators because the CDC failed to restock after the N1H1 pandemic. They saw Trump order hospital ships to ports on either coast, and the Army reserves to build mobile hospitals to handle overflow. But instead of using those resources, Democrat Governors and Mayors sent Covid-infected patients to nursing homes, dramatically increasing infections and deaths in those states. Yet, the MSM tries to blame Trump for it. Do they just assume we remember nothing, that we can’t look it up ourselves? That’s why they’re so easy to ignore.
The MSM was shouting Russia, Russia, Russia for 3 years, trying to implicate Trump in some crime regarding collusion or salacious “evidence” in an official dossier. But no evidence is found, no credible witnesses came forward, Mueller had nothing. Then we find out it was Hillary who paid a Russian for the dossier. They see how it works? Democrats blame Trump for something they’re doing and try to use it as evidence to impeach him. Trump supporters see all this and know the liberal media can’t be trusted at all, in anything.
Now, the MSM is spiking the story of Biden corruption with China, Ukraine and Russia. Trump supporters watch their news sources and see witness testimony and are assured of evidence regarding receipts, wire transfers of money, emails, and that the evidence is being corroborated by Hunter Biden’s laptop and his former partner, Tony Bobulinski, proving it’s all legit. But MSM won’t talk about it. They say it’s unproven. They’re trying to convince us it’s just Russia propaganda. By now, Trump supporters have found so many reasons to dismiss the MSM they feel confident that Biden probably did sell out America for personal profit. Future indictments and court cases will certainly confirm the conservative perspective, not the liberal perspective.

When Trump supporters look back, they remember when Trump said his 2016 campaign was spied on and now they know he was right and the liberal media was wrong. When Trump says the media is useless and biased, they cheer in agreement because they have seen it for themselves. The MSM will say Trump is dividing America, but Trump supporters know that liberal media bias is dividing America. We see it every day.

America is certainly divided and it’s primarily because of the inconsistencies between what the MSM says and what people see. Maybe that’s why Fox News dominates the ratings with 8 of the top 10 news shows.

And now that another election is coming on, Trump supporters want to side with the man who has exposed the media for what they are. Compared to what Trump supporters see, the liberal MSM has been wrong on almost every account and the people are tired of being lied to. Since they have been proven wrong, Trump supporters now feel, for the first time in their lives, that there is a President who is looking out for them instead of the political swamp, thus the enthusiasm. Time will continue to reveal who the watch dogs are and who’s been committing media malpractice.
