The Mother’s Light

A Daily Dose of the Divine. Day 1 “The Oneness of Everything.”

I was asleep and saw myself lying in bed dreaming. A white light was pouring into my heart. I felt the light — it was warm, yet cool, refreshing, enlivening, invigorating, replenishing, illuminating, peaceful, a silent calm inner joy, an opening to higher forces.

The Mother — a Divine Mother — was above me, pouring light into me. I heard “𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐲𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧.”

I was then being shown to grab paper or a journal, pick a quote from scripture, and listen. Through listening, there would be a further pulling down of the Mother’s Light.

You may be wondering, “What is The Mother’s Light?”

“Light is a general term. Light is not knowledge but the illumination that comes from above and liberates the being from obscurity and darkness.”

The Mother’s diamond white light is purifying. Her light illumines and “brings down the whole essence and power of the Truth.” It is “Divine Consciousness in its essence,” and is what makes “transformation possible.”

“Put all before the Mother in your heart so that her Light may work on it for the best.”

The Mother and the Integral Yoga, Letters of Sri Aurobindo

Such illumination is especially helpful and necessary during these times…

You are now invited to grab a few pieces of paper, or a journal, and a writing tool. Read the scripture:

“When you are open, the Divine can pour itself into you.”

Then close your sweet eyes and listen for the deeper meaning. Viscerally feel into the blessing. As you do, you are pulling down this divine white light. If inclined, experiment with journaling, also known as stream of consciousness writing — allow the pen to flow and see where it goes. This also helps to digest, and further assimilate while continuing to open your heart like a blooming flower, the sunlight pouring in . . .
