The Most Successful Manifestation Technique I’ve Ever Used
Writing your dreams into reality.
Journaling is one of the best manifestation techniques I’ve come across thus far and it gives me the fastest results. It entails you consistently writing down everything you want to manifest until they come true. This can really be anything from more money, to a soulmate, or even changing your appearance.
The key is not to just write down what you want, but also to express gratitude for what you already have.
Here is my journaling technique that I’ve had great success with to help you manifest your desired reality.
First Things First — Gratitude
Put the date in the top right-hand corner and before you even begin to write down the things you want, look around at what you already have. You have a roof over your head, you have a bed you can lay in comfortably, you have food on the table. Be grateful for everything — especially the small things.
Learning to appreciate the small things will help you live a happier life because you’re able to realize how abundant you already are. It will also show the universe that you are thankful for everything they throw your way.
Be thankful for both the good and bad moments in life as well because they both contribute to your growth as a person.
No one actually likes going through a rough time, but once it’s over you’ll look back at it and be glad you experienced it because it taught you life lessons you needed to learn.
When you express your gratitude, you can say things as simple as:
“Thank you universe for allowing me to wake up another day. Thank you for putting me through the things I did because they made me a stronger person. I know you wouldn’t put me through it if you didn’t think I could handle it.”
When you write the things you are thankful for make sure you actually feel the emotions. Feel thankful and blessed because that is how the universe will receive your messages, through emotions.
Write In The Present Or Past Tense
Whenever you manifest you have to make sure everything you are saying is in the present tense or past tense. This is usually a personal preference because some people like to write as if they’re way in the future and they’re looking back on what they’ve achieved, while others like to write as if they’re actually in the middle of living out their manifestations out. Both work perfectly fine, it’s completely up to you.
The reason for writing in this way is because time is just an illusion, your brain can’t tell the difference between the present and the future. Do not write things like
“I can’t wait to be out of debt”
Saying “I can’t wait” is you implying that your manifestations will come in the future and not now. If you’re constantly telling yourself that what you want will come in the future, then you’ll never actually achieve it because every time you use the word “future” you're pushing it farther away.
When you say what you want in the present tense you’re able to manifest it much faster because you’re speaking as if you’re already living in the reality you want.
Words NOT To Use
It’s also important to avoid using negative, unintentional words when you journal. For example, saying things like:
“I would like to be out of debt”
When you say “I would like” you don’t sound confident. When you’re manifesting you have to believe that what you have is already yours.
The word “debt” is also not a good word to use because it has a negative connotation to it. Do not use any words that make you feel like you’re lacking or unhappy in life. Instead, you should say things like:
“I live in complete abundance. I have enough money to pay all my bills and still be able to put some aside.”
The word abundance produces a much more positive feeling than the word debt. Even when writing it out you’ll notice the way you feel changes.
Avoid using words like “gone” or “no more” because they’re also considered negative words when manifesting. If you’re trying to get rid of acne don’t say “My acne is completely gone.” Instead, say “I am free of acne on my face and body.” Saying “I’m free” will induce a much more positive feeling within you which is the fuel you need to make your manifestations come true.
I also like to sign my name at the end because I feel like it just locks in all the magic!
A Personal Example
Here is an example of something I journaled back in the day when I was in school and struggling with anxiety. My grades practically plummeted overnight and I felt like my life was over. I come from a family of high expectations and I myself grew up being an overachiever, so this was a disheartening experience to say the least.
Dear Universe,
Thank you for allowing me to wake up another day and continue my mission here on earth. I notice everything you do for me. From the food on my table to the quality time I get to spend with my family. I see it all and I am beyond grateful for it. Thank you for blessing me with good grades in school. I worked very hard to achieve greatness and it made me feel even more motivated to do better because I knew you were watching me and supporting me the whole time. I finished the semester with straight A’s and my GPA is currently a 4.0! I feel relieved. I feel at peace. But most of all I feel thankful. Deep down I knew that everything would end up falling into place for me and I owe it all to you. Thank you for giving me the strength I needed to complete my courses because it clearly paid off. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Love, Tiffany
Notice how I wrote as if I’m in the future looking back at my grades? That allowed my manifestations to come even faster and by the end of the semester, I really did have straight A’s and a 4.0 GPA. Of course, it took a lot of work on my end but when you’re in alignment with your desires and you actually work with the universe, anything is possible!
Additional Ways To Journal
Write Positive Affirmations
Affirmations are phrases that you continuously tell yourself until you believe them. Your affirmations can be about anything you want to manifest. For example, you can say things like “I have beautiful silky hair. I love my body. I am confident in my own skin.”
When writing affirmations you also want to write in the present tense and only use positive words. Write them down in bullet points and then you can always recite them to yourself later in the mirror to make them even more effective.
Write A Letter To Your Ancestors/Spirit Guides
Some people don’t have any relationship with their ancestors/spirit guides and that’s fine. This is something that I only do when I feel drawn to do it, but it feels amazing once I’m done writing.
Your ancestors and spirit team support and guide you throughout your entire life, so it’s important to express gratitude to them for all of the guidance they provide for you.
I tend to get very personal when I write to them and mention things that only my ancestors and I would know. I remember writing to them when I first started journaling and promising them that I would break the generational curse placed on our family. I talk to them like they’re close friends. It's a great way to vent when you’re going through something and feel like you have no one to talk to. Your ancestors/spirit guides are always there for you.
Write A Letter To Your Past Self
This will make you realize how far you’ve come and how much you’ve grown. We all go through challenges in life, being able to look back at those challenges and acknowledge the fact that you overcame them is a great way of realizing your own inner strength.
It will make you more optimistic about the reality you want to live in because it will show you that anything is possible.
When you write to your past self say things like “I wish I could tell myself not to be so stressed, everything will be just fine.” Saying things like this will also reinforce your trust in the universe because you now know that no matter what, everything will be okay in the end.
Draw
If you’re more on the artistic side, draw your manifestations out! If you’re trying to manifest money, draw $100 bills falling from the sky into your lap. If you’re trying to manifest a lover, draw you and your ideal partner kissing under the stars. The more creative you get with it the better because that means your putting more emotions into your manifestations.
There’s no set time limit for journaling. Write as much or as little as you want. You’ll know what feels right. However, you should try to journal every single day to make your manifestations stronger. I personally do it in the morning right after I wake up because knowing that your manifestations are on the way is a great way to start your day!
