The Morning Routine That Doubled My Income in Just 4 Weeks
I’m now excited to wake up in the morning and start my day.

A month ago, I implemented a morning routine that has completely transformed my life. It has brought so much joy, opportunities and abundance. I doubled my income in just 4 weeks of this morning routine.
My morning routine takes three hours, but it has increased my productivity significantly. To many people, it seems like a lot of “wasted” time, but it supercharges me to tackle the day ahead with much greater efficiency. It creates a shift — in my physical, emotional and mental well-being — that I need to sustain the day.
Instead of an eight-hour workday, I now work four, simply because I invest three hours of self-care with my morning routine. I get the same number of tasks done in less time and feel so much better.
Maybe you already have a morning routine that works for you, and this is great. But if you are looking for inspiration — and motivation — this story is for you. If you implement the same eight fundamental principles I’ve implemented, you should see an immediate improvement in your life quality.
Two years of heading into a rabbit hole
When I resigned from my corporate job in 2018 to become a freelancer, I was excited to wake up when I wanted and work when I felt like it. It quickly turned into a bad habit.
I would often wake up late in the morning, and in consequence, start work late in the morning and still not be finished by the evening. It was hard to find motivation and easy to find excuses.
Before I knew it, I had reached a point where I had zero motivation, energy and productivity. My lack of vitality has impacted my relationship with my partner, but worse — with myself. When you don’t have an effective morning routine, you will lack self-esteem.
Two years of heading into a rabbit hole and one Tony Robbins event later, I knew I had to make a change.
This is how my morning routine came alive. I’ve experienced its benefits for a month now — more energy, productivity, creativity and self-esteem — and I am committed to it.
#1: Start by moving your body
Don’t wait for your brain to wake up to awaken your body.
I wake up at 7:30 a.m., no matter what. There is no compromise here. Even if I am half asleep, I jump into the shower and finish with ten seconds of cold water. Then I get dressed and put on makeup. Feeling clean, pretty and sexy puts me in a positive mindset. When you look good, you feel good.
Then, I go outdoors for five minutes. I don’t go far; just out of the house. I like to go to my building rooftop with my headphones and do some jumping jacks. Music influences our mood, so I listen to the same three songs every morning because their messages are powerful. You can add them to your playlist too :
- I Gotta Feeling, Black Eyed Peas
- Play Hard, David Guetta
- Let’s Go, Calvin Harris
#2: Stay hydrated
Experts recommend that everyone consume at least one-half of their body weight in ounces of water every day. Proper hydration is essential to maintaining healthy and flexible muscles.
Right after I wake up, I drink a large glass of water with my daily vitamins. I leave a glass on my kitchen countertop the night before, so it’s waiting for me when I wake up.
Now I’m awake, clean, beautiful, hydrated and oxygenated. I am heading to a great start and it’s not even 8:00 a.m.
#3: Eat right
At 8:00 a.m., I am preparing breakfast and lunch with more upbeat music. Cooking breakfast, even if you are not hungry, is essential because it builds discipline.
For lunch, I have prepared and frozen healthy meals in advance that I put in the slow cooker. It only takes five minutes of my time to do so, and lunch will be ready around 1:00 p.m. I follow an Ayurvedic diet that keeps inflammation low and is essential for muscle regeneration and longevity. Your body is the tool that helps you perform and feel good all day. It is vital to take care of it. When you spend too much time in a chair, you want your muscles relaxed and comfortable, and a healthy diet helps.
#4: Exercise to reach “Flow” state
Flow state is a powerful state of mind where you are incredibly productive and also feel great.
You can reach Flow state by exercising first thing in the morning. By 9:00 am, I start my KINRGY workout. It is a 20 to 45-minute dance-driven and high-intensity workout created by Julianne Hough. Inspired by the elements, it takes you through a journey of dance, meditation, breathwork and strength training. It is the workout that works well for me, but you can select the one of your choice.
By the end of the exercise, I feel sexy and sensual.
#5: Nurture your mind
After taking care of the body, it is now time to take care of your mind and give it a brain massage with meditation.
I have found that meditating right after exercising is the optimal way to unleash my creativity and productivity. At 10:00 a.m., I do one hour of Joe Dispenza meditation, where I focus on tuning in to the frequencies of abundance, freedom and opportunities. I know one hour seems long, but Joe Dispenza brings you on a journey where one hour feels like 20 minutes.
By 11:00 a.m., I have cared deeply for both my body and mind. I am feeling super energized, proud and focused. I am emotionally, physically and mentally prepared for my workday.
#6: Unleash your superpowers
No matter what state I woke up in, I am now ready to write, write, write. I only take a break at 1:00 p.m. for lunch with my healthy and delicious meal put in the slow cooker. What used to be eight hours of writing, I now achieve in two hours.
You might think it is a long morning routine, but it simplifies and streamlines the rest of my day. Instead of working eight hours in a tired and unmotivated emotional state, I produce better work in about two hours and take it to slow the rest of the afternoon. The truth is that I feel so energized that after lunchtime, I get another round of two very productive hours of work in.
#7: Eliminate distractions
The phones we all keep in our pockets are fantastic tools, but can quickly become distractions. Social media, unnecessary emails, entertainment and news should be segregated to leisure time and take zero percent of your attention during your morning routine. I have deleted all social media from my phone, and never felt better.
I quickly check my emails at 9:00 a.m. and I filter, delete and save the appropriate ones..
#8: Train your body to be ready no matter what
With a morning routine, you teach your body that there is this strength inside it, even if you feel tired when the alarms go off.
After having this routine continuously for about 21 days, it became a habit and part of me. Strength and discipline became my identity. My body knows that I am the master and I won’t wait until I feel like it to take action.
My morning routine overview
To sum-up, my morning routine looks like this:

Take Away
Exercise your discipline for long enough to build the habit, and productivity will become routine. And remember:
- Start by moving your body. Don’t wait for your brain to wake up;
- Stay hydrated and eat right;
- Exercise to reach Flow state;
- After taking care of the body, nurture your mind with meditation;
- Eliminate distractions;
- Work smarter, not harder. A morning routine teaches your body that there is strength inside it.
I am genuinely grateful for implementing this morning routine and I wish someone had told me earlier about what I’ve shared with you today. I would have experienced the benefits of it long before now. Now it is my time to pass this knowledge to you. You can do it too!
