The More You Gag HongKongers, The Louder We Shout! (2016)

【The More You Gag HongKongers, The Louder We Shout! 】
Seems like HongKongers have collectively become more cynical, having seen how chinese spies and security officers could freely abduct people across the border from Hong Kong. Hold your tongue and everything will be fine, really?
Modern chinese history proves that chinese tyranny and savagery isn’t born today. Anything it does to others today could be done to you tomorrow. The terror is not limited to a case of 5 people related to the same bookstore mysteriously disappeared. That’s why we must not back down. Friends who actively make political comments must steadfastly hold your ground. Once you lie low, no one will notice when you have gone missing too. Those who don’t normally make political comments but join rallies and marches should not be surprised that the black cops have captured your close up image in their cameras.
Safety is not guaranteed for supporters of china who never comment, never in rallies and marches. Perhaps china does not target you but when it salivates at anything you own, it could torment you the way it persecutes dissidents. Commies are known to use and dump.
People ask what we could do now.
March, petition, anything and everything, with emphasis on bringing the issues to international attention. To whack it at the head, to wit, in violation of Sino-British Joint Declaration, china no longer has legitimate sovereignty of Hong Kong. In fact, problems such as influx of chinese migrants without scrutiny, promotion of Manadarin to suppress Cantonese, collusion between government and businesses in white elephant projects, shortage of baby milk powder and school places, right to vote and be voted, development of the North-Eastern district, freedom of speech, and now personal safety, are all caused by the chinese authoritarian rule. How many of these problems can we tackle head on at the same time? We need at least the kind of mass rally and march like 1st July to the British and US Consulate. Alas, even before action, HongKongers will just say it won’t work, concede defeat, and end up not doing it.
China, in every possible way, disseminates the thought, “Hong Kong affairs should be dealt with by HongKonger only. Getting the western powers involved makes you a slave of the west. Plus, they don’t even bat you an eyelid.” China wants HongKongers to be isolated, xenophobic, and despaired. We all know that not all foreigners are nice and good. The commie arse-lickers are most deplorable. On the one hand, china headbutts the west for meddling in Hong Kong sovereignty. On the other hand, it actively meddles in Hong Kong affairs from behind the scene by remote control. How on earth could HongKongers known for shrewdness could take it lying down? As in a RPG game, your Level 5 man must accrue power and you got every means of SP to deploy. But china says you cannot receive supply and cannot take up arms, otherwise you are not winning by your own capability. Bloody hell, china is at level 50 and unrestrained in all tactics. You follow their rule? Go drop dead!!
Reason china could legitimately invade Hong Kong is all due to The Sino British Joint Declaration, an international treaty signed in 1984. There is no legitimacy for china to take Hong Kong. Qing Dynasty was routed hence Hong Kong was ceded to Britain. Qing is now history. Power and sovereignty have changed hands. If simply because of geographical reason that Hong Kong should “return” to china, then many countries in Europe should all “return” to Italy. In spite of everything, ain’t everyone once belonged to the family of the Roman Empire?
Even when Britain was no longer the suzerain, Hong Kong should have become independent or a British Overseas Territory by means of plebiscite. After WWII, other former British colonies have made either one of these choices. Yet the previous generation in Hong Kong simply let the chinese tyrant “retake” Hong Kong. They were fed soothing words like 50 years no change, one country two systems, no fear no worry, it is just taking off the jacket and flashing the muscles, it ain’t gonna rape you. Gee, any one who ever flipped a page of history book would know these were all lies, lies, lies. As the saying goes, “Trust china one bit, your mother turns to shit.” Even if china keeps the 50 years promise, what happens afterwards? The older generation might think by then they are old or even dead, but what about this generation and our next? The bitterness is hard to bear. You oldsters and middle-agers love to pepper your criticisms with the term “young loser”. When you never spared a thought for the next generations like those others in the former British colonies, what qualifies you to call people “young loser”? Save your breath keep saying Hong Kong’s opponent is china. When the dictator Francisco Franco of Spain blocked off the Gibraltar border for more than a decade, with tanks rolling and roaming up close, why did Gibraltarians plug up their courage to oppose Spain? Why did Falkland Islanders want Britain to send troops to fight for this so called “small and worthless” piece of land, and insist on staying British instead of “return” to Argentina?
Unilaterally in violation of The Joint Declaration, the international recognized treaty that handed over Hong Kong to china, is enough of a reason to terminate china’s sovereignty of Hong Kong. Say nothing of the sort that Britain is timid and doesn’t want to intervene, the biggest problem lies in the 5 permanent members of the UN Security Council. The people’s republic of china (commie chinese) ousted the Republic of China (Taiwan) in the 70’s and gained veto power in the council. It immediately demanded UN to remove Hong Kong’s status as a colony, rendering the suzerain (Britain) to be powerless to allow plebiscite in Hong Kong. Britain’s objection was no match of USSR shielding and supporting its bugger little brother china. The existing threat is that if UN takes over the administration of Hong Kong now, by way of the veto power conferred to china, PLA could roll the tanks over the border and seize Hong Kong by brute force.
Everything seems to be too late now. Hong Kong really will have to take one step at a time and see how things turn out. But isn’t this exactly what we have been doing in the past decade? Imagine if over 90% of HongKongers act courageously like Gibraltarians to make their voices heard through the international arena, under pressure, Britain would have to respond and re-investigate the Hong Kong sovereignty issue. The whole world will be watching. Right now, china still needs to use Hong Kong as a conduit to channel their capital and wealth, it dares not act overtly impudent. At the very least, we fight to buy time. Stop thinking what others don’t do. Think what you can do, and do it. Some notable activists (sigh, HongKonger still clamour for political celebrities) are doing their best to explain the situation in Hong Kong to other countries in English. Though they do not explicitly say Hong Kong should become independent, being a rubbish special administration region of china is a shame. This is a good move and we must keep it up. I have said it several years ago that china have infiltrated into foreign media. English speaking / writing wumaos (Cyber trolls) are more than ever to drown out our voices. The more and louder we speak up the better. Albeit it is late, we have to carry on. We can’t just sit and do nothing, can we?
No one participates in peaceful marches to ignite international attention? Because the organizers keep choosing wrong rallying spots. Karaoke on Sunday outside government headquarters? Who the dang wants to join? Hong Kong is deteriorating year after year. Are we supposed to wait till HongKongers are being killed as in china? Or like Tibetans forbade to speak their Tibetan language and killed for displaying their Tibetan flag? Or when hundreds and thousands march to no effect that people have to immolate themselves at the British Consulate to gain attention?
