Sara had always dreamed of being an astronaut.

As a child, she would gaze up at the moon in wonder and imagine herself walking on its surface. She worked hard and studied diligently, determined to make her dream a reality.

Finally, after years of hard work, she was selected for a mission to the moon.

She trained for months, learning everything she could about the lunar surface and the equipment she would be using. Finally, the day of the launch arrived, and Sara was filled with excitement and anticipation.

As she soared through the void of space, she felt a sense of excitement and adventure. At last, she saw the moon looming large in her viewport!

She landed the spacecraft safely on the surface and stepped out onto the dusty, barren terrain.

For hours, Sara explored the moon, collecting samples and conducting experiments. She was amazed by the stark beauty of the landscape, the vast expanse of the sky, and the silence that surrounded her.

But as the day wore on, Sara began to feel a strange sense of unease. It was as though she was being watched, or as though something was following her every move. She shrugged it off, telling herself it was just her imagination.

Finally, as the sun began to set, Sara climbed back into the spacecraft.

She opened the sample marked “moon atmosphere” and noticed a familiar smell. It was a mix between gunpowder and burnt charcoal. After making a couple of notes about her experiences, Sara prepared to take off.

As she fired the engines and lifted off the moon’s surface, she felt a sudden jolt. Something had attached itself to the bottom of the spacecraft, dragging it back down to the surface.

Sara tried desperately to shake it off, but it was no use. The thing clung to the craft with a strength that defied belief.

She tried everything in the manuals to achieve liftoff from the moon’s surface, but as the hours ticked by, she realized that she was stuck on the moon with no way to escape.

Sara flipped on the distress signal, notifying earth there was a problem.

The idea that the same force that was keeping her ship down was blocking her signals never even crossed her mind.
