The Minds Eye Can See The Sun Set From A Valley View
The bright sunshine on the hilltop tells us the sun is leaving to set somewhere.

Living in a valley with large hills facing East and West can increase the imagination of what a sunset may look like. We’ve all seen the sun setting somewhere. Is it seen from your backyard? Are you blessed enough to see the sun setting where you live or do you pack up and head on out to the land where the sun does its setting in full fashion?
The mind's eye can imagine the colors of purple, orange, and red splashed across the sky with pink and yellow mixing in as a treasured highlight. Living in a valley means using your mind's eye to see the full set of the sun, or the sunshine will have to be followed if wanting to actually see it set is the desire.

In the early afternoon, the sunshine travels up onto the West facing hill of our valley; leaving the valley dark with a cold shadow. Seeing the bright golden sun shining strong on the forest hill tells us that the sun is heading out to set somewhere.
This is when we get to decide if using our imagination is all that we have the time for today or perhaps we should get moving to the land where the sun does it’s setting. As a rule, no wandering is unscheduled so many evenings are spent giving praise for the daylight left and the sunshine that illuminates our forest hill.

The valley sky is intriguing with its telescope-like view providing over 100 miles of visibility in both North and South directions. The sky is full of birds, planes, and often clouds that wisp across the Earth's ceiling, but colors of purple, orange, red, and pink do not appear in the valley sky. The glory of a sunset is seen only from the mind’s eye.
If you live in a land where the sunset is grand then raise a hand, or take a seat in the sand, and give gratitude that your sunset view is not something canned. Plus… Your skin is probably beautifully suntanned!
At ShineOn Valley where the sun barely graces our ground, we shine from within when the sunshine is not around. The shine from within is the warmest, brightest shine we have found- And thanks to the mind’s eye, our imagination is not bound.

If you live in a land like I do where the sunset is not a color filled sky, be encouraged to know you can go find and see the evening colors above if you try. You can climb a mountain and see more than colors when you’re up that high.
Joyce Nielsen can verify the beautiful scenes available to those who wander nature.
It is true that the sun provides us all with more than a gorgeous display of colors in our evening sky. When thinking about honoring the sun, we have multiple reasons as to why. Sahil Patel tells us how to honor the sun in case you want to give it a try…
