💯 STORY CHALLENGE

The Mind Swirls

No 1 of 💯: Deciphering our senses to make art, both grand and modest.

My mind swirls as I walk down the colourful streets at sunset. What must the poets who roam these streets, now or in the past or perhaps in the future, think? As they walk down the street, is their mind a jumble of images and words and thoughts?

Do they see the bicyclist? Do they see air conditioner stacked on air conditioner? What do they see? And how do they move this mass jumble of words and images, of sights and sounds, of smells and tastes? This patchwork of senses brought to vivid life.

Incoherent but to their lyrical soul.

Inspired by Zane Dickens 💯 Story Challenge. Let’s see how long I last. One more criteria I’m adding is the stories will be self-published and not in a Medium publication.
