It describes the ritual of hiding kitty treats in Mr. Percy's condo, the disruption of the usual routine due to a late start, and the subsequent capture of an unusual photo of Mr. Percy mid-meow. The story conveys the bond between pet and owner, the cat's expectation for his routine, and the owner's amusement and affection for her pet's antics. The Mighty Roar of Mr. Percy the Cat

Six Word Photo Story: “Kitty” Freestyle

Give me my kitty treat now!

As you know, I like to take photos of Mr. Percy.

This morning he was sitting in his kitty condo where, usually, we hide some kitty treats in the morning. It’s our ritual. Then he finds a cozy spot in the house to take his 8-hour nap.

I was a little behind on my morning routine since it was a Sunday morning. We all slept in which is a rare event. Well, I should say the humans slept in.

Mr. Percy was waiting ever so patiently (so I thought). I started taking some pics of him, because he’s just too cute, and I caught him mid-meow.

Look at that face and those teeth. Oh my! I’ve never captured this side of my sweet kitty-cat.

I showed him the pic, but he just looked at me; this time with his usual sweet, charming face. Waiting. I sprinkled a few treats throughout his kitty condo.

He meowed a soft cry as he jumped down to find his napping spot for the day. I have a feeling that cry wasn’t a thank-you, more like “don’t mess with my routine, hooman!”
