The Mermaid
A tale as old as the sea
In a distant sea full of surprises Upon the waves, a creature rises She’s part fish and part human her scales brighter than a million lumens
A mermaid, born of myths and fantasy Yet more than a figment of the mind For in the depths, she sings her melody With aquatic beauty, her sea world shines
She loves to sing. Her voice fills the air All who hear fall under her snare she sings of the creature of the sea lullabies with secrets of the deep
She sings to the ships that sail at night beneath a sky of soft moonlight Beneath the ocean, she roams free A mermaid in the deep blue sea
