When will men stop complaining about how all women want is a “high value” man and take a look in the mirror?
Who are you crushing over? What types of women do you follow on social media? Blue checks anyone?
I’ve said this before, or at least some variation of it: For every man who says he’s overlooked for being nice, safe, dozens of women can say the same.
The adjectives could be different for us.
Let’s say regular, basic, or non sexual for short.
Now, the problem I’m seeing is there’s a mismatch. Good women and good men don’t seem to like each other.
We want opposites. Not reflections of ourselves. It tastes the same and who wants the same dish everyday?
We want “sparks”. Energy that makes us feel alive.
Hypnotic even.
It just so happens that those who provide that, aren’t always the best fit.
Nerds in high school bypass other nerds like there’s some nerd hierarchy. They fantasize about the popular jock, or girly girl cheerleader. The same goes for regulars too.
People want what they can’t have. Human nature.
And with a man like Devon Franklin, a pastor, who’s pending divorce with the actress Megan Good is underway, it was obvious he was completely enamored off who she was and what she represented.

See what I mean?
I read their book, “The Wait”, they’re being interviewed on in the clip. Both provided a little background on their dating histories. And it didn’t sound like either one had dated anyone like the other previously.
She had dated guys who seemed a little more rough around the edges, and he dated women more or less like himself. Safe, well rounded.
Unfortunately after 9 years of marriage they are divorcing. An official reason hasn’t come out yet. But some remarks on social media were similar to what I always thought: behind closed doors, they weren’t that compatible.
And sure, couples of all kinds split everyday.
I’m talking to the men here. Because I want them to see that women are not the only ones passing up what’s “good”.
We gotta check for compatibility on the major things. We gotta check for alignment. We gotta start liking each other.
Good men and women gotta start seeing each other and the value each one brings.
Or, like the dating coaches in the manosphere say how women will be single forever, men will get thrown in that box too.
