The Medium Way
And I learn a little more every day
I almost gave up on this platform. I felt lonely and unloved.. No one to read my hard earned efforts of the written word. No one caring enough to notice my witty semantics. I felt alone in the deep dark cavern of writers despair. Maybe a little dramatic. Hey, I’m a writer!
I stayed with Medium though because I loved the stories, all the amazing and interesting stories. It’s addictive. There is always just one more article to read! I was officially smitten.

Then something started to happen, I began to follow the writers of those stories I enjoyed so much. I began bookmarking the stories I didn’t have time to read, but wanted to. I highlighted and commented…. I then noticed writers following my work, clapping, highlighting and commenting! To make it even more encouraging…. it all happened organically. People would actually truly follow my work, and I truly enjoy following theirs in return.
I then discovered Facebook Medium Groups. This was the icing on the cake. I followed the groups and they provided endless opportunities to check out work and communicate to others within my preferred niche.
For a little fun, here’s a medium writer who likes to write when he’s really angry!
