I am a beginner, and for the beginner, it’s very important to get into different publications. As we don’t have a lot of followers so to introduce ourselves to a huge bunch of people its necessary to land our article into a distinct publication.

So, I thought of helping all the beginners just like me. I pitched to 11 different publications in the last month, all the large and small publications. I believe we need to come out of our comfort zone and even hit a big publication. Because it’s necessary for our growth. Take one step after the other. Take a risk and challenge yourself.

Age Of Awareness

Age of Awareness is all about education, student life, teaching, environmentalism, and sustainable development. So here is the article which will guide you to become a writer. AoA is working for positive change: Be part of a community that wants to bring authentic and lasting change to the current education systems.

You just have to leave a response on the article saying that you need to be a writer in their publication. When they reply back to you, you will become a writer for their publication.

The Brave Writer

The Brave Writer's main goal is to inspire and motivate writers to keep writing and become a brave writer. The main topic they are looking for is self-improvement for writers, motivation for writers, writing tips, and marketing for writers.

In the above article, you just have to leave a comment below saying “I’m a Brave Writer.” Once they clapped for your response you will be added as a writer. It may take 48 hours or so to add you as a writer.

Writers’ Blokke

Writers’ Blokke consists of topics on positive things like health, fitness, food, love, self-improvement, poems, short stories and rainbows, and sunshine. You can write about anything over there but just try to avoid topics on sex, murder, drugs, and politics.

For becoming a writer you just need to leave a response saying “I want to be part of Writers’ Blokke!” and add your Medium @username. They will add you as a writer in 24–48 hours.

2 Minute Madness

2 Minute Madness basically focuses on a two-minute read that is 480 words. They mainly focus on topics like wealth, health, and art.

If you are the one who wants to describe your content in two minutes then go for this publication. Short and simple. Below is the guide for it.

Or, here is the direct link of google form. You have to send your email, username, and draft of your article. If you don’t hear back from them in the next two days, send them something else.

If they love your article they will email you and add you as a writer and then you have to submit it again using the publication option in your menu.

The Post-Grad Survival Guide

The Post-Grad Survival Guide looks for topics like work, life, and money. You can write stories about personal stories or, unique lessons and insights which will inspire people. They look for post-grad blues, success, struggle, and everyday life.

And to become a writer send your @username in this Google form. They will add you as a writer within a few days. Just check your publication option for it.

The Ascent

The Ascent is one of the fastest-growing publications on Medium. They mainly look for stories that have a personal perspective and which will inspire others to educate and live better lives. It’s a community documenting the journey of happiness and fulfillment. Read their guidelines below.

To become a writer fill the form in the above article and wait for five to seven business days. They will email you or you can see in your publication list.

The Writing Cooperative

The Writing Cooperative is the community that helps each other write better and write more often. They mainly focus on writing, editing, publishing, creativity, and everything in between. Below is the guideline for it.

There is a link to become a writer over there or click here for the Google form. Just fill all their requirements and you need to add one published writing sample.

As they add writers manually, it will take time. So be patient. You will receive an email once they added you as a writer.

The Startup

The Startup is one of the largest active publications. They mainly focus on topics like startup culture, the future of technology, blockchain, and web development and design.

Read their guidelines below and fill the form at the end to become a writer. Fill your link to the medium draft and fill two more options.

Once you submitted they will email you that they have added you as a writer. Now, again you need to submit your unpublished draft by selecting from the publication option in your menu.

They have 36 hours rule. If you don’t hear back from them within 36 hours consider that your article has been rejected. So, ready with the next draft and pitch them again.

Mind Cafe

Mind Cafe focuses on relaxed, inspiring essay about happiness. It’s one of the topmost publications. But right now there submission is closed for new writers. They will be back at the beginning of September 2020. So, just dropping their article below. Check it in the first week of September.

P.S. I Love You

P.S. I love you mainly focus on articles about love, relationships. Like love as family and history, fear and rage, healing, transformation, and love as pain and triumph, sex, and intimacy.

Or click here for the main form which will add you as a writer. Just fill all their requirements. If they don’t get back to you within seven days, assuming that they have passed.

A Few Requirements You Need to Take Into Consideration

1. Submit unpublished drafts only which are unique and not copied from others.
2. Read all their submission articles carefully because they have described everything they want.
3. This will help you to become a writer. So that doesn’t mean your all articles will be published by them. If they don’t like it, they will pass on it.
4. Don’t get dishearted if they passed your work. Pitch them again. They mainly passed because you need improvement.
5. Go for the hard work. Challenge yourself. Don’t sit where everything is served easily.
