The Meaning of Life.
A Free Verse response to Timothy Key’s The Indubitable Declaration of Timothy Key
The meaning of life To me is not the meaning Of life for you, There are similarity’s I’m sure, like dark chocolate Guinness and sex, A brilliant combination As I can buy Dark chocolate Guinness which I can eat Off my sweet lover’s body, Teasing her with Guinness chocolate Then not letting her have some. This is usually met with a slap.
After our dark chocolate fun We settle back, meself with a Guinness Herself with the rest of the chocolate, Then we tune in to words of the wise, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy To remind ourselves why we are here To not take for granted the meaning of life, “The answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe and Everything” is… 42.
Thank you Timothy Key for the invite to participate in the meaning of life. I hope I have been able to offer some sound advice to all reading this piece.
