The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda Are Back Together Again and Life Is Good
And my love of Star Wars has never been stronger

Like many fans, I vividly remember the first time I watched the first Star Wars movie in a theater. As an avid science fiction nerd who grew up loving Star Trek, I was determined to see Star Wars early on.
There were no theaters showing the movie in my California coastal community in 1977 when it was released, but it was playing at the Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara.
So I grabbed my little brother, Kriss, and drove north on the 101 freeway in my trusty Plymouth Duster and we joined all the other curious fans waiting in line. We easily got two tickets for the movie and found some good seats on the aisle.
The anticipation in the packed theater was electric and when the lights went down and the stars started twinkling on the simulated night sky on the ceiling you knew you were going to watch something special.
It was a wild ride and my brother and I became forever fans of Star Wars. It’s one of those spur of the moment things you just never forget.
Fast Forward to 2019 and the Mandalorian Series Debut
Given my Star Wars history, it’s not hard to understand why I got lured into subscribing to DisneyPlus when the Mandalorian and Baby Yoda flew into town in the first season.
I knew it was going to be something fun and I wasn’t disappointed. The gruff and tough bounty hunting Mandalorian has a job to capture “The Child” aka Baby Yoda and ends up rescuing him instead.
Season 3 of the series just dropped and I’m still in love with this adventurous duo. I can’t wait to see what’s coming next for them.
But I’m sure it will be equal parts funny, thrilling and heartwarming.
If you haven’t watched it yet, now’s the time to start.
May the force be with you!
Key Message: Running off on the spur of the moment to see Star Wars with my little brother is a memory I’ll never forget. Magic happens in life when you take a chance and go for it.
