Summary

Bill Letson, a paramedic, had a near-death experience (NDE) during a flu epidemic in 1994, where he encountered other dimensions and beings, but was prohibited from discussing his experience at work.

Abstract

In 1994, amidst a flu epidemic in Santa Barbara, paramedic Bill Letson contracted a severe illness while treating a dehydrated patient. He experienced a near-death experience (NDE) characterized by an out-of-body sensation, encountering celestial beings, and a profound sense of love and joy. During his NDE, Bill was shown his life's regrets and was told he had to return to Earth despite his reluctance. After his recovery, he shared his experience with others, providing comfort to those who had lost loved ones. However, he was later asked to refrain from discussing it due to concerns from his colleagues. Bill resumed sharing his story after retiring in 2010, advocating for the understanding that death is not to be feared.

Opinions

  • Bill Letson believed that his NDE provided definitive proof that death is an "absolute 10 million percent upgrade instantly."
  • He felt that the essence of who we are continues beyond physical death, as he still felt like "himself" outside of his body.
  • Bill was convinced that his experience was a message to be shared, to alleviate the fear of death and bring comfort to those grieving.
  • The celestial beings he encountered during his NDE seemed to have a personal connection with him, indicating a possible pre-existing relationship or purpose.
  • Bill's colleagues' reaction to his story suggests a societal discomfort or skepticism towards NDEs, particularly in professional settings.
  • The author of the article appears to be inspired by Bill's story, encouraging readers to consider the spiritual aspects of life and death.

The Man Has A Near-Death Experience, Sees Other Dimensions, But Prohibited To Talk About What He Saw

Bill Letson was a paramedic in 1994.

There was a flu epidemic in Santa Barbara, and many people were suffering. All the EMS and Public safety workers were required to go out and tend to people.

Bill and his crew were called to a lady who had been cooped up in her room for days. The lady was severely dehydrated.

As a paramedic, Bill saw her and immediately sprung into action. When he went to help her, she exhaled, and Bill inhaled. He said he felt the ‘sickness’ go straight in.

Bill gradually became extremely sick in the following days. He was throwing up intensively. And he was losing a lot of weight fast.

When he checked his radial pulse and couldn’t get anything, It was clear that he needed to go to the hospital. So he called his family, and they accompanied him as the ambulance took him to the hospital.

He was placed in a room full of people with the same emergency. The doctor who was in charge was giving everyone drugs for pain and nausea.

Bill told the nurse that he wasn’t feeling that much pain and nausea. However, the nurse insisted because the doctor prescribed this medication to everyone with his condition.

During the night, the drugs they administered to him vasodilated his vessels. So, the oxygen circulation in his body significantly dropped, and he lost consciousness.

Bill Went Out of His Body

Bill said coming out of his body was the most amazing feeling he’d ever felt at that point. It was like coming out of a hot, stuffy closet.

Bill went into a space where he saw giant colored stars all around him. He started to fly around them.

In that space, there was a sense of being welcomed and cherished while traveling there.

Bill also saw that he appeared as an orb, like some form of energetic being.

As he continued to move around, he recovered a sense of ecstatic joy flowing through him. And everything there was exhilarating.

Then he started asking himself, “How did I forget who I really Am when I was there?” — there meaning Earth. “How is it possible that I was convinced I was this person and that I had all these issues?” Bill kept questioning.

Bill then landed on solid ground.

In front of him appeared three short, dumpy-looking beings in dark robes with hoods on. They were smiling ear to ear.

Their eyes glowed bright as they asked him all kinds of questions. They wanted him to tell them how it was and what he learned on Earth.

Bill was confused about why they were asking him personal questions, and the three beings picked up on that and said to each other, “He doesn’t remember us.”

Then, a tall, slim being came to the scene. He looked like he was made of mist and was smiling ear to ear.

As he approached Bill, Bill’s chest expanded. Bill felt like bursting into uncontrollable tears of love. The love coming from the misty being was overwhelming.

Bill Didn’t Want to Go Back

Bill said, “I am not going back there, so what are we going to do?”

The tall, misty being and Bill reviewed Bill’s life. The one thing Bill regretted was a job he didn’t take as a park ranger on an Island. His wife wanted them to be on the island all summer, but Bill took another job.

After a while, the being told Bill that he had to go back.

Bill declined his offer.

He explained that only his parents and his wife were going to miss him. He added that they’ll only be sad for a few weeks, but eventually, they’ll get better.

The being thought it was funny and said, “No, you are going back. You have many things to do.” Then, the place started to dematerialize, and Bill appeared to be going through a channel.

He felt a descending drop in frequency. Then he appeared in a dark place that felt close to Earth. There, he felt lonely and dismal.

After that, he was back in his body. And then his blood pressure started to go up again.

Bill Was Confused

When Bill woke up, the nurse exclaimed, “You are back.” And she ran to tell the doctor.

Bill, on the other hand, said, “What am I doing here? I was home with my best friend and my brothers. How is it that I got back here?”

The nurse explained to him that he had just lost consciousness and that he was back.

For months that followed, Bill was deeply sad. He told everyone that he knew about his experience.

“I told everybody, everybody I knew, “Hey, there is nothing ever to worry about with this death thing. It’s a joke; we’ve got it completely backward. It’s an absolute 10 million percent upgrade instantly.”

So some guys would come to me if they lost a child or a parent, struggling, and I’d tell them that exact thing. I said, “Nobody died; we’ve just slipped out of the physical and gone home.” Because when I left my body through all those things, I was still me.” — Bill Letson

Bill kept spreading the word about his experience, but he was told to stop telling the story because, at his job, someone had nearly died in a crash. So, his co-worker told him people were starting to ask questions about him.

After that, Bill only talked about his experience once he retired in 2010.

That’s it for today’s story. Let the Peace and Love of the Most High Source of all shine through you.
