The Man Has a Near-Death Experience and Sees the Truth About God, Time, Energy, And The Afterlife

The NDE of David Oakford

When David was nineteen, he associated with the wrong kind of people.

David and his friends believed that behaving like gangsters was cool. So, they heavily indulged in drugs.

They created many occasions to party and drink heavily.

And it was because of one of the parties that David had his NDE.

David Wanted To Party One Last Time

David Oakford lived on the south end of Warren, Michigan.

He described where he lived as “a really bad neighborhood.”

David knew that if he was going to amount to something in life, he needed to move out of the neighborhood. So he hustled and put together some cash.

Then, before leaving, he decided to go for one last party and say farewell to his friends.

At that party, they smoked weed and drank alcohol for hours. Then, later, David felt like he needed something strong.

So he asked his friend to get him stronger stuff.

The friend brought him a brown rock, for which he paid $15.

It was loud, so when David asked his friend what the drug was, he thought he’d said cocaine. So he smashed the rock and snorted the powder.

Little did he know, the brown rock was an early version of crack.

David went to brag that he’d already finished the cocaine.

But his friend was shocked and worried. He said he’d told him not to do everything at once. He told David that the amount he took was lethal.

But David ignored him and went outside to take a beer.

After all, what harm could $15 worth of drugs do to him — he thought.

Then he felt dizzy and laid down on the grass.

David Passed Out And Went Out Of Body

David started seeing a glow on everything.

He was on a couch. And he could hear seven different sounds coming from his body. And one by one, the sounds began to stop.

As the sounds stopped, he got flashbacks of how he got from the grass to a couch. He saw himself in a car with his party friends. And he remembered ducking down in the car as they went past his parent's house.

He also remembered seeing beings in trees he’d never seen before.

Then, the seven sounds from his body all went silent.

After that, he heard unbearably loud rock music from the stereo. David was no stranger to partying, but this time, the music was traumatizing him.

He tried to reach the volume to turn it down, but it was impossible to touch the knob. He tried to reach for the plug, but it was also impossible to unplug the stereo.

So he tried to call his friends to stop the music but he couldn’t.

But he suddenly could access any room in the house he thought of, which freaked him out.

David also realized that he couldn’t see anyone in the house, but he knew people were having a party because there was loud music playing.

Then David looked back and saw his body lying on the couch.

He tried to walk towards it but didn’t budge. He tried lying down to crawl, but also nothing happened.

He knew what he’d done. So he panicked and thought to himself that he should pray.

“I remembered what I did, and it looked like I was in some big trouble.

So I freaked out and started screaming.

I didn’t know what to do and I thought, ‘well you know they say prayer works… why don’t I pray.’ So I prayed.

I said God, I really messed up this time. I really need your help. And the next thing, there was this Spirit by the door. He was floating, and it was just his colors.

It was just his Aura.” — David Oakford

David Met A Spirit Willing To Help Him

The spirit that appeared after David prayed then took on a human appearance.

Before, the spirit was just an aura of glowing colors, but after, it looked like a man with curly hair. But the spirit was still floating.

Then, he communicated to David without moving his lips.

(In his book, David Oakford named this spirit Bob, so I will be referring to the guide spirit that appeared to him as Bob/he.)

Bob asked David what he wanted to do.

And the first thing David asked for was to get away from the loud music.

Bob granted David his request. David found himself in the driveway with Bob. He didn’t walk there as he’d tried before. He spontaneously was away from the music.

Then Bob told David that he knew everything about his life.

He told David about things he used to think when he was little. Bob also told him about his parents' divorce and how that led to him living in the south end of Warren, Michigan.

After hearing all these things, David trusted his new spirit friend.

Then Bob asked David again what he wanted to do.

David and Bob Went On a Cosmic Adventure

David said he wanted to go see the seven wonders of the world.

Bob explained that they could only see some of them. So David suggested going to see the pyramids.

Then, in an instant, they traveled to the pyramids.

When they reached there, David simultaneously saw the pyramids when they were new and in their current worn-out state.

He was intrigued and wanted to know how it was possible.

Then Bob told him that it was how “real” time worked.

As they continued the tour, David asked Bob to slow down. They were going from one place to another instantly. And David wanted to contemplate the view.

So they rose above the planet up into the Orbit.

David saw that there were places like the pyramids under the ocean.

And he also saw that there were natural areas on the planet that were exchanging energy with the universe.

Bob explained that our planet constantly receives energy from the universe. The planet uses it and then returns it into the vast. And those natural places were for exchanging energy.

Bob continued to explain that our planet is known as Gaia. And that humans need to learn to live more in harmony with Gaia.

They went around the planet. David could see the energies of different places. Some areas had colorful and glowing energies, and others harbored dark energies.

David was eager to see the energy of the United States. And it was wild.

“So we kept flying, and I could see the countries.

I could see where there was really good energy, really nice, colorful, and bright energy. And then there were darker energies around where the cities were.

And then, I found myself heading for the West Coast, California. I saw the cities there, too, and in the United States, the energy was different than it was in the other countries.

It was wild. It wasn’t the same as everyone else.

It was totally unique.”— David Oakford

David then saw that there were other spirits like Bob guiding people like him.

There are also other spirits he refers to in his book as “Dark spirits.”

These were human spirits who were stuck around the planet.

Bob explained that those spirits couldn’t go to the light because either they didn’t know about the light or they’d choose to stick around.

The journey then continued. David wanted to see the stars.

Bob said pick one. David pointed. Then Bob agreed to take him.

But before they could leave, David wanted to take one last look at our planet. It looked blue, as portrayed in books, but there were more colors too — red, green, and white.

It was a breathtaking view.

Then Bob took him across our solar system.

David noticed that there were cities of spirits on those planets. And he asked Bob why the satellites couldn’t see those cities.

Bob explained that David could see them because his vibration was high enough. The human body naturally limits our vibration. And since he was out of body, his vibration was high.

When they arrived at the star, it was circular and sucking things inside it.

But it wasn’t a black hole, as portrayed in astronomy books. It had a sky blue color at the center and on the other side of it.

David asked Bob if they could go inside it. Bob refused and told him that he wasn’t ready for such an experience.

David then asked Bob, “Who created all of this?”

David Learnt Lessons About God And Jesus

Bob exclaimed, “Of course, God!”

Bob, knowing what David thought about God, explained further.

He said that everything was part of God. Everything. And he explained that God wasn’t seeking to punish him or hurt him.

“God is actually the energy of everything, the energy that’s in everything.

Everything is a part of God. He said you are a part of God. I am a part of God. The planet’s a part of God. Everything is a part of God.

God is not a human. He’s not a person, and he doesn’t judge you. He just is. Then I thought, well, that makes more sense to me than the God that’s gonna punish you or send you to hell.” — David Oakford

Then David asked Bob about Jesus.

Bob said that Jesus was an ascended master from Earth. As Bob explained, a white light came and engulfed David.

He instantly felt great. Then, the light appeared to him as the image of Jesus he had seen in the Lutheran school he went to.

David felt worthy and important.

Then Jesus told David, “Tell them to love one another, and everything will be alright.” Then he left.

After that light left him, he saw many planets aligned, and they all had an aura around them. They also had a sound, like what you hear after the ding of a bell.

David beheld that sight, and it felt like a spectacle — a cosmic spectacle.

Bob Took David To An Afterlife Station

Then Bob asked David where he wanted to go next, but David had no idea.

Bob then proposed to take David to a special place.

The two came back to a place near Earth. David could see Earth from that place. Also, there were other spirits like Bob and human spirits like David going to the place.

Then they went to what looked like a town square.

David saw a big house to his left and a giant building to his right.

Bob walked towards the house. David followed.

The house had four rooms, and there were four spirits that knew David, but David didn’t know them. And he felt they were worried because he was there.

Then Bob and David left the house and moved towards that giant building.

It was white and entirely made of what looked like glowing wood. There was a bench, and Bob told David to sit there.

Bob then walked through an entrance with double doors.

As David was waiting, he started to experience Deja vu. He knew he’d been to that place before but couldn’t figure out why.

Before he could piece everything together, Bob came back and told him to go into the room. He instructed him to tell the truth and to relax — it was going to be okay.

Then David went into the room.

There were spirits who waited for him. And they had questions for him.

They first replayed his whole life. Not every single detail, but the moments that had led him to become who he was at that time.

They showed him that he’d chosen his parents. And that he’d intended to help them on their path.

After the whole review was over, they asked David if he thought he had a positive life or a negative life.

David wanted to lie.

He thought that if he said he’d had an accomplished life, they would let him stay.

The spirits picked up on his hesitation to tell the truth.

David said he really wanted to stay. And he started to try to prove himself. He said the wrong things he’d done were because he was with the wrong group of friends.

Before he could finish arguing, he was in a place outside that room.

The place had a white stone bench, and there was a river close by.

Then Bob came to talk to him.

Bob Showed David What Was Going To Happen if He Went Back

David would get married soon.

Bob showed him that his wife was near. And he remarked that David was going to have kids, but one of them would need special attention. It was going to be a challenge to raise him because he would be different.

Bob also explained that if he would go back, he was going to have a very difficult life.

“He said that I would have problems with jobs. And he told me bad things that were going to happen to me.

I still wanted to stay there, but I asked when will I go back.

He said I can’t tell you.

So I started asking him leading questions like where am I going to be living when I die. And he showed me where I would be living, and that’s basically the area where I live now.

He also said that I would have a brown dog for some reason.

I ended up just having a brown dog, but I don’t know why he told me that information.

And so I thought about it, and I thought, well, why am I thinking about me?

What about my kids? What about my wife?

I was so far away from getting married that it was Unreal. But there was somebody there for me. Somebody was gonna want me.

And I wanted that, so I decided that I was going to go back.”— David Oakford

The Aftermath

Bob took David to the river.

He told David that he had to wash him because there were some things he wasn’t allowed to bring back and remember. And he touched his lips and instructed him to share the story.

David was submerged in the river, and Bob told him it was time to go.

David dove into the river and came out of the bottom of it into space.

He then saw a glittery trail, and he followed it. The trail led him to the house where his body was.

But before entering his body, he wanted to watch the sunrise. From his spirit’s perspective, everything was beautiful. And he was eager to share what he had seen.

He also noticed that the sun made that sound he’d heard planets make. The sound after the ding of a bell.

David then went above his body, and with a pop sound, he installed himself inside his body. He checked if everything worked, and it worked.

When he woke up, he was excited to tell his friends about the NDE. But the friends told him off and said all he did was overdose.

Everyone he tried to tell thought he was crazy or lying, and that broke his heart.

“I didn’t want to tell anyone. I was afraid to try to tell anyone, so I didn’t tell anyone.

I got married, and we had four kids. I told my wife the whole thing before we got married. I told her about it, and she said yes, those things happen.

And she believed me. She was the first one to believe me.

After that, I didn’t tell anybody until 1998.

I shared the experience with somebody, and they shared it with somebody else. It ended up on a big near-death experience website, and a lot of people read it.” — David Oakford
