The Magic of the Soul

Poetry Inspired by Lifeline Prompt — Creativity and Music

It can be said that music is the heartbeat of the soul.

It is the very essence of creativity.

There is one particular song that never fails to inspire me — Perfect by Ed Sheeran and in this video, he travels to Andrea Bocelli’s home in Tuscany to perform a duet. To me, this represents creativity on so many levels.

Plus, there is something so soothing about this music that sets the table to free the mind and fill the soul with creativity. If you listen to this song, I hope you can see why it has this effect on me.
