As a nature lover, I feel blessed to live in an apartment building surrounded by large Nilgiri trees and beautifully landscaped gardens.

One of the most special things about my apartment is the Yellow Laburnum tree located just outside my French window.

Every morning, I get to see it first thing as I walk over to the window to pray to the Sun God.

As the sun rises over the horizon and the trees, the Yellow Laburnum tree suddenly turns golden, its leaves and flowers bursting with life.

As the sun climbs higher in the sky, the leaves begin to flutter and dance, creating a carpet of yellow flowers beneath the tree.

Some days, I love to sit under the tree and bask in its surroundings. Touching its rough bark and hearing the wind rustle through its leaves is a soothing experience that connects me with nature.

After spending some time below the Yellow Laburnum tree, I often head out for a walk outside the building. The pink Laburnum blooms in all its glory just across the building gate.

Walking in nature is one of the best ways to experience the beauty of spring.

While I walk, I get to observe the changes around me and admire the beauty of nature. It also helps me slow down and clear my mind.

Feeling the sun’s warmth on my skin and the coolness of the breeze is an invigorating way to get a dose of essential vitamin D.

The seasonal shift from winter to spring is like the start of a new chapter, bringing with it excitement and sometimes anxiety.

Here are some positive affirmations I use while walking to help me stay focused on the positive aspects of the season:

  • I am ready to bloom and grow in all aspects of my life during this new season.
  • I choose to let go of any negative thoughts and focus on the positivity of the season.
  • I am open to new beginnings that come with the season.
  • I am at peace and in harmony with the natural world.

Using these affirmations helps my brain to think in a more productive and positive way, which enhances my experience of walking in nature and connecting with the beauty of spring.
