The Lunacy of Trumpism

And why he proclaimed at a MAGA rally, “I love the poorly educated.”

Trump is a narcissist and a psychopath. He’s been gaslighting the world of MAGA and trying to gaslight the rest of us. We see his lies and his perfidy. But, it’s bewildering why MAGAs, especially fundamentalists and evangelicals, continue to worship him. He’ll burn the world while humping the American flag — and they’ll still fall at his feet.

Nothing he does diminishes him in their eyes. Indeed, it seems to elevate him all the more. He’s been raised to messianic status to MAGAs. Seriously, there’s an actual movement claiming he is more than just “God’s chosen one,” that he is actually the messiah. There’s even book for sale on Amazon proclaiming him, “President Donald J. Trump, The Son of Man — The Christ.”

Every perfidy exposed about him follows the same trajectory:

1. a. He does a criming right in front of everyone, on video or audio. He claims it’s a total lie, never happened, fake news. b. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.
2. a. He admits it happened, but it’s not a big deal, everybody does it. b. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.
3. a. Well, it might be a big deal, but it isn’t illegal. Brags he’s smart for criming that crime. b. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.
4. a. Sure, it is illegal, but Obama, Hillary, Biden, yak, yak, yakity, yak-yak, so it’s okay. b. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.
5. a. Trump gets impeached. b. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.
6. a. MAGAs call anyone who points out Trump’s lies “libtards.” Says we should all just shut up and get over it. That we’re just sore losers — even though Trump loses for the GOP all the time. b. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.
7. a. Trump loses the 2020 election. Screams about “The Big Lie.” b. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.
8. a. Trump, Fox News, conservative media, and his lackeys rile the MAGAs up to violently storm the capital in an armed insurrection, literally hunting Trump’s own VP Mike Pence to hang him. b. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.
9. a. Claim the insurrection was AntiFa disguised as MAGAs. d. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.
10. a. Scream how it’s all a witch hunt. Trump did nothing wrong. b. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.
11. a. Trump is investigated and charged with 91 felonies. d. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.
12. a. The court rules in E. Jean Carroll’s favor, determining Trump raped her and defamed her in 2023. He is ordered to pay her $5 million. He immediately defames her again. b. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.
13. Yeah, he crimed, but was POTUS when he crimed so he has unchallengeable presidential immunity. b. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.
14. a. Trump gets impeached again. b. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.
15. a. He calls for suspending the US Constitution. b. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers
16. a. Over 700 MAGAs convicted since the insurrection. He claims they are hostages and he’ll pardon them if elected. b. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.
17. a. He tells you straight out in a broadcast Fox News interview that, if he’s elected again, he will be a dictator on day one. b. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.
18. a. He shows serious signs of advanced dementia while screaming about Biden’s age — who is only 3 years older than Trump. Vote for him anyway in the primaries and he wins. b. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.
19. a. Court finds he did defame E. Jean Carroll again. He’s ordered to pay her $83.3 million in damages. b. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.
20. a. Trump “loves the uneducated” and laughs all the way to bank. b. MAGA donations pour into Trump’s coffers.

Trump is running for office to stay out of prison. He doesn’t care about America. He never did. He’s always been a grifter and a cheat — and a liar — who has only ever cared about himself. He lies and cheats in life, he lies and grifts in business. And, he keeps losing. He keeps losing and he keeps lying. And, MAGAs keep lapping it up.

At the border, the Trump Administration ripped babies from the arms of their mothers. They locked those babies in cages. They didn’t even keep track of who the babies belonged to. Hundreds still can’t be reunited with their families. MAGAs celebrated the cruelty.

Research has shown that upwards of half a million Americans died needlessly, directly as a result of the policies by the Trump Administration. He’s responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans. He even held rallies spreading the virus. Herman Cain contracted the virus at one of those rallies; and later died from covid. Trump was himself infected at a White House event, along with several of his lackeys. Still, his MAGAs adore him.

The man is a narcissist and a psychopath. It’s always been right there in front of our eyes. Everyone has been witness to his grift for his entire life. What is wrong with MAGAs that they cannot see they are his ultimate patsies in his ultimate grift?

I can only presume it’s the meaning in his word’s “I love the poorly educated.” That’s a statement he shouted directly at his crowd during a MAGA rally. He said it as if ego stroking the crowd. He called them “poorly educated” (read: stupid) to their faces. Trump turned a truth — his disgusting estimation of his own sycophantic cult — into the lie of some kind of compliment.

Even when the truth is spoken by him, he turns it into a fetid lie.

As you may know, Hamid and I both have had covid; we’re both better. He’s better than I am, though. He’s back at work, but still fighting that covid hangover; we’ve both got the coof oogies.

Hamid was out of work for a full week, though, and his employer paid no sick leave while he was down. Plus, with the holidays past, they’re not allowing any overtime for him to make up any of the lost income. Plus, we’re at the start of our insurance deductible cycle so all our medical expenses and prescriptions for covid were out of pocket.
