The little things that matter

Those objects that can bring you joy

I usually tend to have my space very tidy and clean since recently I cannot concentrate having a mess around. So you would find my desk with only the specific objects that I need at that moment.

But what I do prefer to have at my desk at all times is a plant. I truly think that it gives me a little boost to work harder. It can give you an interesting point to look at, and if you are like me, it can add great fragrances to your space.

The plant that I currently have is lavender. Imagine the aroma! If you aren’t able to work in front of a window, I recommend having a least a plant next to you.

It’s said that by having some type of greenery, you can have the following benefits:

  1. Increase of productivity
  2. Relief of stress
  3. Your space feels more attractive and inviting
  4. Cleans up the air

And so much more!

I do have to share that I have the possibility to move around the house to a preferred workspace. I, like many other people, have transferred to a work-from-home policy and well spend all day inside. With these, I sometimes get tired of being in the same space or even in the same position. So that’s why you can see me sitting down, standing up, and moving from place to place.

With this in mind, I prefer to have plants in my main work areas. Do you have any items you like to be around? Do they help you concentrate?
