The Lessons Learned in the Past Six Months
I Said Yes to Too Many Goals, which was my downfall
Looking at what I have written so far, I notice that goals, habits, tasks and to-dos are still in the forefront of my problems. While the productivity levels this past month have gotten better, as my focus has gotten stronger, I am still not where I want to be.
The Productivity Series
Plus Organizing My Office article and YouTube:
Looking further, I realized several lessons learned
- I need to have Due Tasks to accomplish goals and habits. This might be as simple as doing the Laundry every Monday before 12 pm.
- Sharing might get comments or likes but very few shares. This is true whether on Medium or Facebook, and definitely never get shares on YouTube, Instagram, or Twitter.
- Writing down thoughts both on paper and digitally will help my goals and habits.
- Drinking more water, not just liquids, will help manage my allergies.
- Connecting with followers, friends, family (the three Fs) at least once a week in a fun environment will help increase my positivity.
- Writing for my artist client has helped me learn more about other art forms, which in turn, has helped me appreciate other artists.
- Having a writing table allows me to write more often than just putting it into a computer.
In the wait or still unresolved
What is still unanswered or unresolved? I know I have a hard time breaking down Goals into actionable tasks and to-dos. Even with outlines, I still have problems breaking goals down even more. Then I procrastinate while searching for answers.
I lose focus and never finish the goal.
So what to do? Using Powersheets Goal Planner by Lara Casey has helped me focus more and set better goals. It has taken two months for this to happen, but I hope I am looking at a better future.
While I continue to move forward in my goal writing, productivity, and time management system, I hope you will continue to follow the process with me.
Thank you!
