Summarize

The Labour Party Really do Want You to Know They are anti-Semitic. And They are Using IMPRESS to Make Sure You do Know

I met this Jewish tailor I know, and he’s walking up the street with a roll of cloth under his arm. So I asked him where he was going. “To my friend Manny, to make me a suit.” “Why don’t you make the suit yourself? You’re a tailor.” “I can’t afford the prices.”

Oh the great Max Miller.

Labour Continues Work Dismantling its Own Credibility

And now I’ll write a fifteen thousand word dissertation on why that joke isn’t anti-Semitic, citing Bob Monkhouse as proof —(( yeah I didn’t know either)) — and when I have done that, I’ll write another fifteen thousand word explanation for some feminist Flo who finds Max’s attitude to women problematic.

Poor Holly Rigby… lives in a dream…. everything was going so well for her: childless, dog-mommy and all the artisan bread she can eat: she’s living the Extinction Rebellion dream.

Stop it… sorry lady, I was temporarily channeling the ghost of Max Miller…

I don’t know if she has children, pets, or if she has a penchant for food poisoning: she certainly has evenings free. But what I do know, is she is a case study in why the Labour party is anti-Semitic.

So the chief Rabbi, Ephraim Mervis, published a letter in the Times (the third such letter of the campaign) warning that the soul of Britain was in mortal peril if Jeremy Corbyn is elected (when he became Catholic, I can’t say, but can I buy an indulgence). It came on the day when Labour published it Race and Faith Manifesto, (no I am not making this up,it is really called a RACE and FAITH manifesto, and no, I am not sure if it comes with collar runes) and also as der Fuhrer, JC, was due to appear before Andrew Neil for a grilling.

Sensing a trap, a conspiracy no less, Momentum dimwits took to Twitter to voice their opinion. And in doing so provided their mortal enemies, the ‘right wing’ media, with all the blather fit to print.

And no I don’t know they were Momentum, but for the sake of the Labour party, who are currently under investigation by the EHRC, they must hope they are — or the entire party stands accused.

Enter Holly Rigby… lives in a dreamGuardian columnist, Independent columnist, and purveyor of poverty porn. Holly decided to wade into the row, to stand in solidarity, to bouche off, to tout for more media work… oh fuck knows why she did it, but according to her, the Chief Rabbi is only saying this because…

Labour is promising to recognise a Palestinian state + end arms sale to Israel

She has said and done other things in the past, but

Holly Rigby calmly laid out the truth. She’s been hounded off Twitter, defamed, and now the witch hunt mob are lobbying her school and Ofsted to have her sacked from teaching. Everyone who’s responsible & everyone who silently accepts this shares the shame. Bullies and cowards.”

So why does this demonstrate anti-Semitism?

You will no doubt find convoluted explanations of ‘split loyalty’ or ‘tropes’ or whatever. None of that is the issue.

The issue is that in order to be in the Labour party, and certainly to advance within it, this sort of stuff is expected. Indeed if you don’t parrot it, you will be hounded, and perhaps attacked.

Oh yes, but look at what the Israelis are doing’, will come the retort. Fine, no one is denying that the situation in Israel is complicated. No one is denying that the Israeli government has behaved badly. The problem is that Holly Rigby… lives in a dream… and her ilk are so biased, blinkered and willfully ignorant of everything but their next Twitter spat, that they are too stupid to see it. And treat the whole thing like a football match.

But they can’t see it, because to do so would be to break the code. It’s the reason political parties have become hollowed out havens for careerists, charlatans and extremists (it’s one thing to give up the odd evening, but it’s quite another to have to endlessly agree with these people).

I ask you to go back to the quoted tweet defending Holly Rigby… lives in a dream… that’s not from some random nutter, that’s from the Editor in Chief at the Canary (Independent Media!Campaigning Journalism)… they are regulated by IMPRESS… this is big boy stuff.

So when Kerry Anne Mendoza says it’s ‘calmly laying out the truth’ to say that the pompous, partizan Chief Rabbi is only sending the letter because he wants guns for Israel, well that’s campaigning journalism.

But wait… what have we here… Isn’t that Kerry Anne Mendoza, using the Canary, to organize a witch hunt against Rachel Riley, trying to get her hounded off Twitter, and lobbying Channel 4, to get her sacked from her job of not being Carol Vorderman?

Golly, I’ll wager if I went over to… oh yes…. Rachel Riley’s twitter stream…. I’d find that mob armed with the talking points from the Canary, from Ms Mendoza herself, (assuming it is a woman) still banging away at Ms Riley a week after she wore the T-shirt. That Ms Riley is Jewish, I’m sure has nothing to do with anything. No doubt she is butt-hurt that a Labour Government would recognise a Palestinian state and stop selling arms to Israel: and that is why she wore the T-shirt (after all that is only the calm truth).

Let’s see what IMPRESS has to say about this kind of fearless campaigning journalism… oh yeah here it is in the Standards Code….”write endless stoopid articles about Tories that appeal to no one, and make the Labour party look like a bunch of weirdos: and where possible set hate mobs on Jewish telly-dollys to further the cause of a free press.”

Is it any wonder that IMPRESS gave the Canary such a high mark when they are following the code of standards to the letter. In fact I wish more news outlets would follow suit. IMPRESS are clearly doing fine work in upholding the standards of British Journalism.

Why would anybody possibly believe the Labour party, and the left, has a problem with anti-Semitism?

Oh yes, beardie-girl, but look at these Jews who do support Labour….

Oh you mean the one’s who also agree with your simplistic notions on the Palestine.

I rest my case…. four legs good, two legs butter….
