The Keys of Hell and Death

The Chosen One, who came to save, Submitted to the tomb, Bowed his head, entered the grave, Accepted this, his doom.

Defeated, he was sent to Hell, Weighted down with chains. Thrown into a tiny cell, But it could not contain.

His mortal body clothed in muck Began to fall away. The guards recoiled, awed and dumbstruck, As night gave way to day.

Light and power filled the place, The chains disintegrated, The enemy fled from his face, The shadows devastated.

He took the keys of Hell and Death And walked right out the door. Behind, it all crumbled to dust For Death was now no more.
