The Key to My Happiness
Could it work for you?
I am going to help you understand something about me in two minutes or less.
Coffee is life.
The steamy deliciousness. The warmth as you cradle the cup. The smell of the heavenly beans volunteering the necessary burst of energy.
It. Is. Delicious.
And I always want some. Making me a cup of coffee will always increase my level of happiness.
Do I look like I might be cold? Bring me a cup of hot coffee. Instant fix!
Do I look like the whole world is on my shoulders and I’m not sure what to do with myself? Bring me a cup of coffee. The quiet assurance it will provide, that I’m not alone — it has my back — will be a balm to my soul.
Did I not sleep for three days straight because everybody and everything always needs me to take care of it/them? Bring me that delicious cup of steaming hot coffee to make the world right again. It works. Trust me.
Do I look like I’m about to lose my ever-loving mind, like I’m about to blow any minute, scream until the whole world falls apart? All it’ll take to make it better is four little words: I made you coffee.
Do I look like I’m about to murder somebody, rip arms and legs from their torso with my bare hands? Give me some coffee. It’ll tame the beast. For real, though.
Are you considering making some coffee for yourself, and you were about to ask if I want some? Don’t bother. The answer is yes. I’ll always want the coffee. Please do make enough for me.
I am a firm believer in asking questions, trying your best to increase your knowledge on any subject you care about. But, to be frank, there is one question that should never be asked. It’s just a silly thing to do. The question itself is stupid. (There, I said it!) Don’t be slow enough to ask it, okay?
To sum this up, let’s just realize that if you’re about to ask me if I want some coffee, don’t. It’s a waste of your breath and a waste of my eardrums. Assume I want coffee at all times, and we will get along perfectly.
Let’s make this even simpler, shall we?
Yes. The answer is, and will always be, yes. I want coffee.
Tell me, do you think my key to happiness could help you?
