The Joy of Life’s Little Things

You only live once. Shine your eyes and behold the beauty and the joy

Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.

~ Winnie The Pooh

She dashed into my room and thrust these little pebbles in my face.

Her cherubic ringing voice was as crystal clear as ever. "Grandpa, do you like these stones?" "Yes, thank you. God bless you."

I scooped them off her outstretched hand. Not yet done, my little angel ran out and was soon back with some more.

"Thanks, these are enough for now." She sauntered off, leaving me to admire my new collection.

My grandkids are catching on with their grandpa and his eccentric hobby — collecting stones and pebbles. And my delight in these beautiful intricate, never the same designs or no designs.

Yes, these natural gifts of God's overabundance.

The smile is still lingering on. The joys of this life. Joy in life's beautiful little things.
