The Journey Day 29: Still Standing

A lot of us suffered many losses in recent years. A lot of the losses came in the form of death, tragedies, job loss, relationship loss, pay reductions, foreclosure, divorce, or illness to name a few. Many of us may have felt like we hit rock bottom and life would never be the same. However, our rock bottom is the beginning of a new chapter, a new beginning.
The Lord spoke to me and said, “Despise not small beginnings.” Often, we think small equals failure and our ministries, businesses, or other areas in our lives. However, I would encourage you today everything started somewhere!
Our rock bottom is the beginning of a new chapter, a new beginning.
Despise not small beginnings because growth does not always happen overnight. Despise not small beginnings because you are setting a foundation for your next level. Despise not small beginnings because though your beginning was small, your latter end shall increase. There is nowhere to go but up.
Reflective Question: What has happened in your life to make you want to give up? What will it take to dream again and have faith that life can change?
Reflective Scripture: Zechariah 4:10
