The Inspired Classroom
A Reintroduction
Hello Educators! I decided to move my old publication “The Inspired Classroom” to be a page in Sky Collection. Since teaching is such a huge part of my life, and I tend to think and write about education a lot, I wanted to combine publications.
I would still love to hear from you. If you have some thoughts about teaching, learning, education, creativity in the classroom, leadership, or any other topics related to school, and you would like to share your stories here, comment below and I will add you.
When submitting to Sky Collection under this tab, please tag Education so it will be organized correctly. Please edit your work thoroughly. Cheers and Happy Winter Holiday to all my teacher friends!

Teacher-Writers on Medium
Who are you?
Roll-Call! I am looking for the teacher-writers, here on Medium.
As the new school year approaches, I look ahead with excitement. I love setting up my classroom, organizing supplies (oh pens and paper, how I love you), and getting ready to meet my new students. I teach fifth grade in an independent school. I also teach writing workshops and tutor. This is my 21st year as an educator.
One of my goals is to create a teacher community. Sure you can find all sorts of teacher blogs and teaching ideas on Instagram and Pinterest. I want to host a collection of teacher voices. I want to know how your classroom works. I want to hear your thoughts about education in your country, in your county, in your hearts. What made your students light up today? How do you find time to write during the school year? What are your struggles and how can we support each other?
If you are a writer and a teacher of any kind, I would love to hear from you! Please comment below to request to contribute, and I will add you as a writer to this new publication. Please proofread and edit your work carefully. Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from you!
Cheers to a successful 2019–2020! — Samantha
