Ever since I was 5 or 6 years old I had a fascination with computer games and the various adventures they allow you to take, which for me no other form of entertainment can even come close to.

After various handheld LCD screen games, my dad bought me my first computer and MSX. I wasn’t the smartest kid and had some learning difficulties, so for me, computer games were an area where I feel like I was on a level playing field with others.

One of the first games I got for the MSX was a game called Yie Ar Kung Fu, it was at the height of the Bruce Lee hype train and the main character was surely based on him. My dad would watch me play it occasionally and could see me playing the same level over and over again until I finally beat it.
