Summarize

I chose to model my success after Dr Mehmet Yildiz

The Illumination Founder Made An Impressive Call-To-Action.

Here is my response, and my two publications, as the boss requested.

Image creation by author Lori Brown for Ruff Life publication and other places on Medium.

I want to preface my introduction of two pubs I created with a special note of recognition to the founder of Illumination, Dr Mehmet Yildiz. It is with a bold gesture of kindness and a healthy dose of diplomacy that the founder of Illumination put out a recent call-to-action. Dr. Y asked his empire of authors to feel free to share their publications in HIS publication. That is, in my opinion, angelic.

Without further ado (I always wanted to say the three words…without further ado. Finally my chance has come.) …

Without further ado…

Dendrites- Pub #1

Note: I also created the logos. The first one is not a tree although it looks like one. It is actually my version of what the end of a neuron looks like. Those tree-like-electrical-messengers that live at the end of every neuron… THAT my friend, is called a Dendrite. Learn more about the cool name and the reason I made it in the first place in the post below. You will see the first logo attempts and hopefully you will agree that the one I finally settled on was way better for the purpose intended. Either way here is that cool post:

And lastly but not “leastly”, the second pub. Without further ado, again.

Ruff Life — Pub #2

The second pub was created, at first, purely because I love my dog and I love the slogan/logo drawing that I made while creating the post that eventually became the first post of the publication. You can see for yourself:

I created that awesome dog drawing too for “Ruff Life” and the awesome slogan … is just too good not to love. “Ruff Life. For the love of Dog.” It is just so darn cute. I am patting myself on the back. Giving myself high fives. Which is essentially just clapping my hands. LOL Oh but this fine platform doesn’t allow self-applause. Interesting. I hope their algorithm doesn’t think I just asked for those. Because I did not. I won’t. But you might be so charmed that you will give me some of those things I should not mention. We will see, won’t we.

This has been a delightful post for me to create. I hope it was equally delightful for you, my sweet reader(s). See that plural? Thanks Dr Y!

Anyone who wishes to be a contributor to these fabulous pubs, let me know in a comment in a story in the pub of choice. I am not poaching writers, this is cross pollination. I am definitely never going to outshine the source of the light. That would be Illumination, of course. But I do plan to add the boss to the writers in my pubs also — I would be delighted to see submissions but I am certain he is too busy with his 90 million new readers. Disclaimer: 90 million is a future projection only, based on data and big dreams. Reality isn’t that far from dreams though … so lets see how that goes.

Cheers, to all of us, in all of our glorious pubs.
