The pit in her stomach continued to twist, churn like butter without the reward, profound grief unintentionally explored.

A part of her was gone, but remained deep inside, she wept for the soul of another that died.

She was resilient and empathetic. Communicating a new way did not take long, hummingbirds visited nature’s song.

She gazed at her reflection in a trickling creek, water caressing mossy rocks along the edge, connecting to her surroundings felt like a pledge.

A pledge to herself, to the one that she lost, A way to be thankful their paths had crossed.

She was present and tuned in. Listening to the signs left behind, Hummingbird appeared to affectionately remind.

Energy exuded through synchronicities, a vibration connected her to the spirit, The hummingbird said, “please don’t fear it.”

Believe it to be true without a doubt, A hummingbird or a tulip sprout.

She inhaled the air of the creek. She exhaled the air of her grief. Through loss vulnerability replaced, the space between herself and emotions encased.

Souls intertwined, and love they share in an unconscious mind. Tears shed while the hummingbird said, “I love you, you've got your whole life ahead.”
