The Hidden Truth Behind The Blinders
In everyday life, we are confronted with situations and images that are now as common in the human eye, as well etched in our minds.
Suppose we are trying to explain to our friend a car accident that happened to us. We analyze that a car had developed enough speed, that it did not have time to stop at the STOP sign; as a result of which it crashed into the vehicle that was passing by at that moment. We will notice that our friend’s reactions are similar to ours, even though he was not present. This is because he understands what the image of a road, the image of a speeding car, the image of a STOP sign, and the image of a crashed car would be like.
I doubt, however, if our friend would have the same reaction if we tried to explain to him a thought or a dream we had the night before. No matter how detailed we would explain it, his expression would be confused, a little lost, and he might even start to ridicule what we would be saying, as he could not comprehend it the way we do. Respectively, of course, we would be just as confused if our friend explained his idea or fantasy.
So, there is something special to each person, something that differentiates us from the friends of our fellow human beings, something that makes us unique in such a wonderful way. Something that allows us to perceive every event as we want, something that is far from the usual images of everyday life.
Our thoughts, our ideas, our sites, our dreams
What would man be if he did not have these four valuable elements? We can travel with them to places we have never visited and imagine the world as we wish, using our logic as the unique judge.
It is important to know that our thoughts are both real images of us and the “car accident” we mentioned earlier. This can be difficult to understand or realize, perhaps because our ideas are not material or because they are incomprehensible to those around us.
What if our ideas are in the final materials?
Let’s imagine ourselves as employees in an office of a well-known company. The pressure is great and the obligations are innumerable. We think about what it would be like being on a lounger on our favorite island with our loved ones, instead of being locked in the office. We might even think what it would be like if this company was ours and we would not have to work for it, but other employees for us.
This last thought would take enough courage to give birth to an idea. Then, the idea becomes a fantasy… We are now looking for and pondering what prerequisites exist to open our own company, and thus begin our journey to fulfilling our dream.
Thoughts create goals and tangible results
The whole process requires courage, time, and sacrifice. However, if we believe in ourselves, and know that we can reach higher, why not risk something that we realize is feasible, let alone become real? What would an artist be like if he kept his thoughts to himself instead of capturing them on paper, if he did not paint and finally did not create and share them with the public?
Thoughts create images
Why waste our time explaining our points of view to people who love wearing blinders and are always skeptical of our goals? Why not dedicate this time to the realization of our dreams?
Our thoughts can create images, and these images can become reality! Keep moving in the path of your conscience…
