The Headline Strategy You Need to Get the Attention You Want
This method saved my writing dreams from crashing around me.
I get tripped up on the headline of my articles every time.
I could have just written my magnum opus and I wouldn’t publish because my headline was lousy.
Your headline is your gateway to the reader ACTUALLY taking a bit of interest in your ideas. If the reader doesn’t think much of your headline, even if they are interested in the topic, they will continue the death scroll.
My writing dreams were being crushed under the pressure of my hot garbage headlines.
After some deep and dark soul searching, I decided to tackle the subtle art and not so exact science that is headline crafting. Here’s what I did.
I completely sucked at knowing what a good headline was and needed examples. Not just good but great, winning headlines. I searched Dr. Google for “headline templates” and “headline examples” and about 30 other combinations of keywords rewording “headlines and “templates”.
I ended up with 283 really great headlines.
Now I had my army of templates to guide me in crafting of headlines that would actually compel the zombie death scrollers into clicking on my article.
I took the painstakingly long time of recreating 283 headlines from the templates into niche specific, mind-blowing headlines.
Now I have an insane amount of content begging me to be written with sexy headlines that would attract a pornstar who just worked for 12 hours.
This stupid approach to writing headlines single handedly saved my writing dreams.
I was honestly going to flee to the nearest exit as fast as I could and go back to being a mindless consumer of content instead of a creator.
