Abstract

The article brings attention to the serious health implications caused by the continued prescription of strong and potentially damaging medications for mental health conditions. It emphasizes the physical toll on patients, including stomach ulcers, blood clots, and oral health issues, as a result of long-term medication use. The author, who has personal experience with prescription medication over 15 years, calls for a shift in approach to mental health treatment, suggesting that the current system, which heavily relies on medication, may be influenced by the economic interests of pharmaceutical companies. The piece advocates for the recognition and integration of alternative treatments, urging governments and health authorities to take action and consider the rising costs of treating side effects from prolonged medication use. By promoting research, knowledge, and science with accredited verifications, the author aims to change public perception and offer better solutions for mental health care.

There is still an ongoing and continued use of strong, addictive & physically damaging medication, as treatments for Mental Health. This is an extremely important issue which seems to be constantly swept under the carpet and hidden away from view.

This week in the U.K. It’s National Mental Health Awareness Week.

Which is a great cause that is close to my heart due to personal life experiences?

I am going to shed some light on the ramifications and long term issues that are caused by toxic and industrial-strength medication.

These are given out on prescription by the health sector to treat mental health illnesses and really should be banned.

I feel strongly about this as someone who has been on prescription medication for nearly 15 years. I’m now suffering physically from something that is meant to be helping me mentally. It’s an absolute astounding fact but it’s true.

I would like to raise awareness about this issue and suggestions for a better-structured selection of alternative treatments which are non-medication based.

People are suffering physically with stomach ulcers, blood clots, bad circulation & intense oral health issues that include multiple abscesses.

I do understand that people have various opinions surrounding this issue but, it’s a democracy that we live in not a dictatorship.

We should be able to access and engage these alternative treatments to tackle mental health issues. Instead, we are signposted down the street to take medication here!! Which I have started to think this is a bit of a totalitarian approach.

Could this be based around the massive pharmaceutical companies in the USA and around the world, resulting in us being forced into making these types of medication because of the global economic effect it would have if they were not?

Problems can be solved.

The two links above are pieces of content that I feel back my case surrounding this whole critical situation we find ourselves in today’s society, I don’t see any information online or even in libraries that back up the facts that long term use of prescribed medication is good for you.

The final piece of the puzzle of mental health treatments and the different pathways it takes could be literally right in front of our eyes we just need a little refocusing on what we can see and what we want others to see to.

For example; Governments, health authorities, medical departments & pharmaceutical companies worldwide should take the lead and take action.

The cost to treat people who have been on prescription medication for too long and are now suffering physically because of the treatment medically is getting so high that surely someone in the high ranks of office or ministry departments has to realize that the potential of legal action and compensation has limitless potential.

I want to see If I can have a helping hand in changing the mindset of people everywhere. Which are being seriously misled by thinking prescription medication is the solution.

The problem can be solved, it’s a simple tweaking of thought process.

By promoting alternative treatments, researching adding knowledge and science with accredited verifications.

Actions speak a thousand words.

Created in alternative treatments space-conscious of the health & wellness of body & mind.
