The Hard Lesson I Learned About Investing

Being Smart vs. Getting Money Now!

You know, when I got my tax refund, I had one goal. Invest. Now, I’ve achieved that goal and I’m pretty satisfied for the most part. However, lately, I’ve been investing in a thing or two other things as well. But, these little ‘investing’ opportunities I’ve been indulging in has come in the form of trading.

I got stuck trading on a site where I’m due for a withdrawal but didn’t take the right steps and now they believe that in order for me to get what I’m owed, I have to shell out more money which I’m not going to do. Clearly, this was a mistake!

I started looking for other investment opportunities and I came across one that is working out pretty well. I already got two emails to the regard of repayment and capital or whatever, but I get the feeling its good. I want my money to work for me, not the other way around.

I decided to start investing in real estate, it’s safer, and all I had to do on my one app is keep an eye on the notifications and emails regarding where the money is going and on the properties. I’ll tell you something.

I’ve had someone come before me with an investment/trading opportunity yesterday, and despite the offer he put before me, I decided that I’m not going to do it. At all!

I’m growing increasingly tired of all of these little get rich quick schemes with all of these different individual who always want to make their opportunity stand out, like, they finally mastered how to get you the most amount of money in the shortest amount of time!

In the interest of all that’s true and logic, these guys may have. But I prefer safer bets especially since its my money on the line. What I also like about the real estate investment opportunity that I invested in, is I can drop money on it, leave it and forget it. The site does everything!

I’m steadily learning who I can and cannot trust with my money, who I should and should not. I’m not completely sold on everyone’s little trading whatever because I’ve seen the dark side of that, it couldn’t be a bigger waste of time.

See, with the investing opportunity that I did invest in, I can just drop money, leave it and forget it. I don’t like being bothered with meticulous details when it comes to certain aspects of finance, I’m no longer just throwing money away on stupid shit!

Investing is a game about patience, if you don’t care that you’re making money in the background, do it. Besides, if you’re working and are getting a physical paycheck of some sort, it shouldn’t matter if your money is growing in a backyard garden. A garden of your design I might add!

As I previously mentioned, I was doing business with a crypto site that apparently messed up my entire deal because of them, not me. Here’s what happened. First off, I made a little over 13k; that money mine by right! Second, I didn’t have 1300.00 to give them so they said, “give us 5% and you can make a withdrawal”. I was like, “okay, fine.”

I forked over 700.00 to get a percentage of my withdrawal which I was going to use to get the other half by putting up the other 700.00 after it hit my account.

However, I just learned shortly ago that my account manager, idiot that she is, gravely miscalculated, and the customer service on the site just told her that I need to put down another 700.00 in order to get access to all of my earnings equating out to 1400.00 total.

I walked away, because I’ve already spent a good percentage of my tax refund on this already even though I only put up 300.00 to get the ball rolling. But, I decided that I’m going to wait on getting the rest of that money out, if I do it at all.

I guess it was too much to ask for to do business with a crypto company where I can make a good profit and not get screwed. Incidentally, I’m not going to bother with this crypto site. I just feel so turned off and betrayed by the utter lack of common sense when it comes to my account manager and the site as a whole!
