My brother recently just became a big fan of this music artiste and producer called "DJ Marshmallow". I mean he gets so freaked out about him, not just because of his big musical sound, but due to his mysterious style of putting on a 'Marshmallow face.'
So I decided to do a little research on the facts that makes him unique and loved. I discovered that there is a great deal worth learning from him.
Journey To Fame
He is an American music producer and Disk Jockey who rose to fame and gained international recognition in 2015.
Marshmello first gained international recognition in early 2015 by publishing remixes online. His debut studio album, Joytime, was released in January 2016, which included the lead single and Marshmello's debut single "Keep It Mello". "Alone", a platinum-certified single was released in May 2016 via the Canadian record label Monstercat.
Having peaked on the US Billboard Hot 100 at number 60, it became his first single to be certified platinum in the US and Canada with over 1 million copies of certified units. That year, he released three subsequent singles.
In 2017, after releasing singles such as "Chasing Colors", "Twinbow" and "Moving On", Marshmello collaborated with American R&B singer Khalid to release "Silence" as a single, which was certified platinum and multi-platinum in eight countries.
Succeeding another single, one of his bestselling singles, a collaboration with American singer Selena Gomez, titled "Wolves" was released.
Awards, Achievements And Recognition
- From 2015–2020, he has received "creator award" from YouTube for having increased his number of subscribers from 100,000 to over 50 million subscribers.
- His songs in collaboration with other music artists have topped music charts and gained platinum recognition in countries United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, New Zealand, United States, Canada, Sweden, Australia.
- He has also been nominated and won several international awards in the music world. Some of which includes; International Dance Award (2019), MTV music award (2018), Best electronic music awards (2018).
- He performed at the European Champions League Final competition.
Revealing His Identify
They went ahead to publish an article confirming Christopher Comstock as the individual behind the Marshmello project, with regards to existing proofs such as his real name being revealed in music royalty manager BMI's database and that Marshmello's company was registered in August 2015 under Comstock in Delaware.
But the fact is that anyone can put on a Marshmallow Head and claim to be the artist himself. I guess that's part of what makes him unique.

Over time, I have come to discover that the most living curious creatures on earth are humans.
The love for the mysterious has always tended to fascinate the human mind to the extent that it would earnestly desire to know the reason or yearn to discover what is hidden behind anything, from a conspiracy to archaeology.
This is the reason why magicians always have their way with people and gain ground. This Marshmallow employed in his style of entertainment- curiosity.
#2. He Loves and Brings Positive Vibes To People.

Christopher Comstock (The Marshmallow DJ) loves to build positive vibes and have a positive impact on other people.
Through many of his posts, he continues to try and spread positivity and leave out anything negative.
He described many times that he hopes to continue to spread positive vibes throughout his music and brand.
He generates these vibes through his hobbies which includes gaming, cooking, and definitely through his music which he easily showcases.

We can’t take for granted when celebrities donate their own money to a good cause.
As for Marshmello donating to the Kids In Need Defense Foundation, that’s Christopher Comsworth who donated half a million dollars.
There’s someone underneath that helmet who felt the need to help a group of activists fight for the rights of refugee and immigrant children.
This goes to show that there is still great faith in humanity.

It now became clear to me after my little study to satisfy my curiosity on why my brother is a great fan of Marshmallow.
The fact that he is committed and dedicated to what he does is a clear indication that he is a goal-getter and achiever.
Honestly, he has won a fan in me too. It is beautiful to put a smile on one’s face and make people see reasons to be happy even in a troubled world.
