The Growl In My Throat
When nature calls…

There is a growl in my throat I can not seem to get rid of Like a wolf howl needing to be heard Longing for the gentle buzz of wild things For moments of solitude where the sky meets the trees Where you inhale serendipity and exhale peace; That is where I would tie my heartstrings Keeping the wonder of a child And the curiosity of a newborn in a domesticated world So shallow and void of essence Where life is viewed through glass Where nobody looks up anymore Where negativity influences the mass
Does no one remember we’re stardust?
