The Grove

I live in the Pyrenees. When I formed my druidic group, one colleague told me about a marvelous, small and wild valley in the mountains, not high and easy to access. We went there in spring and I was struck in wonder, discovering a narrow valley east-west whose trees were covered with moss bordered a transparent torrent with blue stones and marble.

After walking, crossing the river through a ford, we reached buildings with big stone block. I crossed the bridge, entered the portal and explore building in ruins.
Then we followed the path going up in the mountain. Along the path, we could see a first small plateau, then a second, at last the third which was adequate for our ceremonies. It was gorgeous to have ceremonies, high above the torrent; with a panorama on the other valley wall and on the mountain.
So later on, we did our first ceremony for Beltane, in May, between the spring equinox and the summer solstice. Beltane marks the opening of summer.
To heal and clean the premises, we first evoked the quarry men who lived here, speaking with emotion about them, how they suffered, how hard was their work, how lonely they felt and how rejected by the village. Often they had accidents and even met death.
Then we focused to heighten our frequency, feeling love. At last, we accommodated on the ghosts, whom we felt rather than saw, and summoned them to go up with love and through light. They lightened and went up releasing their sufferings., tears now rolling on our cheeks. After all this, the grove was peaceful and empty as we felt joy and an extraordinary relief.
