The Grit Behind Your Words

You’ve got so much to say. Where is all this coming from? You question how you somehow gain the inspiration to instill feelings behind each and every word. Every mumbled syllable has a certain emotion behind it. Language is strange in that way.

Where do you suppose it all comes from? You know everybody feels a certain way, one way or another. And this is true at all times. We’re all sharing in agreed-upon emotions that have been raging among humans since inception. Since what? Since the ability for a human being to “feel”. How strange. They were there from the jump. You didn’t get a choice on what you could and would share in. Unfair? Maybe.

We put so much behind what we have to say. Maybe some don’t think well enough about what they have to say, but the emotion behind one’s words is unaltered. There’s always some motive behind the words you have to convey. Even with these very words, I’m attempting to, in some way, convey the idea that there is intention behind every blurted syllable, either in written or verbal form. That intention is unclear, though. It’s unclear as to the nature of the intention anyway. I don’t know where that comes from. I don’t know what inspires me to express myself in the way that I do anyway. You could say others, I suppose. I’ve seen others create in a way that was inspiring. A chicken and egg debate ensues then. Who inspired them and those before them? Maybe we’ll never know.

One thing remains constant, though. I continue with the colossal grit behind every word I utter. Behind every description and every article written is some deep-rooted feeling. Now that’s just cool, to say the least. Pieces written prior are etched in time and hopefully forever available for reference. Feelings and reactions to content may change, but the original product is left forever the same. That’s powerful. That’s grit. Cheers to more words uttered by every single one of us.
