The Girl Who Has Communication Issues With The Universe
Ever wonder why your wishes never come true?

Hi Universe, I know I have a lot to learn here on earth. You made me what I am so I could learn all these lessons to complete my mission in this lifetime.
You made me an introvert and let me have a lonely childhood. You gave me a little physical ‘defect’ that shredded my confidence. You gave me yellowish teeth that made me dare not smile. Hence, I was misunderstood as being unfriendly and arrogant. This shuts the door to the ever-so-important interpersonal relationship.
You made my family flourish financially after I was born. This is Your mercy because You know that I’m neither strong, physically nor emotionally, to withstand the harshness of poverty.
You blessed me with an attractiveness, though it came late. You left me with a 50–50 chance to see if I could turn the negative into the positive and become a winner, or I would be consumed by the negative and become a loser.
You want to see whether I look at the half-filled cup as half full or half empty.
You gave me a very contrasting character — a perfectionist with an emotionally distant personality, yet You let ambition run deep in my blood, adding a super emotional and sensitive nature to my mix. What a combo!
You wanted to see if I would be settled with an unexciting life or strive to be the top brass of my endeavor. You surrounded me with some high-achieving siblings as a stimulus for me to want to excel and be just like them. You gave me a brain that was good enough to be in the elite class in school. You wanted to see if I could stay on till the finishing line or be out during the eliminating process.
You’ve given me chances to see if I can make it, but again and again, I failed.
I have to say that I’m not up to par with Your game.
My extreme contrasting personality made me loathe myself. I was seriously lacking self-love and too consumed in my own negative emotions. My negative feelings, thoughts, and actions sent You the wrong signals. You thought I enjoyed the negative outcome You sent me!
We both have communication problems and breakdowns.
You kept giving me the rubbish that I didn’t want and I kept sending You more and more negative vibes.
I was always complaining. Negative self-talk became my closest friend. I became even more distant from people. My smile became something as rare as gold. I was so absorbed in my own negative emotions after many setbacks.
All these negative feelings, emotions, and actions became a vortex that sucked me into the bottomless dark hole.
It snowballed over the years and became uncontrollable energy until it burst big time big day!
After I calmed down and became sober from the storm I realized that I’d been communicating with You the wrong way all along.
Now You sensed that I’m a slow learner. In order for me not to screw up Your plan again, You made me wait. You wanted me to heal and be fully prepared, then only You sent Your blessings to me. You wanted to make sure I could grasp it this time.
You wanted me to replace resentments with GRATITUDE, banish the negative self-talk, be warmer to people, smile more, work on something I could be passionate about, and be patient. You ensured I learned about self-love and gratitude before you granted me my wishes.

Why is Gratitude so important?
It appears that people who feel gratitude are less likely to envy others, and thus they avoid an emotion that can be quite corrosive. Moreover, grateful people seem far more able to cope with the stresses and strains of life; they are more resilient because they find the good even in difficult circumstances, and other people like them better.
~ Peter Salovey, professor of psychology and president of Yale University
Gratitude helps you open the door to uncover your potential which leads you to more possibilities, opportunities, and success. That’s how you can turn the negative into a positive!
Be grateful for all the people or things in your life, be they good or bad. They happen for a reason. They are here to help you learn your lesson and be the best version of yourself.
If you’re dissatisfied with your life, it’s because you’re not satisfied with yourself. No one is perfect in this world and nothing will ever be. If you feel that other people have a perfect life, it’s because you don’t really know them — your distance is too far from them, hence you can’t see their imperfections.
If you feel you’re a mess it’s because you’re standing too near to yourself. You only see your imperfections under the magnifying glass that enlarges your faults and loses sight of your perfection. Stand a bit off-distance. You’ll discover that you’re not as bad as you think.
Attain some useful and practical interpersonal skills. It makes you and other people happy and comfortable. Why not? No man is an island.
Dear Universe, I still have a bit more healing to do before You give me what I want. This time I’ll ensure I handle it properly and not let it go to waste.
