Born in September 1933, Lina Marcela Medina de Jurado is a Peruvian lady who is considered the youngest mom in human history. She was only five years and seven months old when Lina gave birth to her first child.
Believe it or not but I am not lying. Based on the medical assessments, it is believed that she was less than five years of age when she became pregnant. Not only this but also she is one of the youngest documented cases of precocious puberty.
How Did It Happen?
In the spring of 1939, Lina’s parents, who were based in a village in Peru, found that their five-year-old daughter’s belly was enlarged extensively. They became concerned when she started vomiting and thought that the swelling was because of a tumor inside her body.
Later on, Victoria Losea and Tiburelo Medina brought Lina Medina to a doctor based in Lima. They were shocked when the doctor said that the daughter was seven months pregnant. After six weeks, in May 1939, she gave birth to her first baby through a c-section. The weight of the baby boy was six pounds.

Who Was The Father?
In no time, the story of Lina Medina’s pregnancy and childbirth became known to everyone. It gained national attention, which she and her family didn’t want. Nobody knows the father’s name because Medina has never talked about it. However, her own dad was arrested on suspicion of sexual abuse. Afterward, he was released because there was no evidence to prove that he had raped his daughter.
