A wonderful possession, the Harry Potter cat stress ball was given to me by my friend Brianna.

She gave it to me three or four years ago after we both ran a conference at our college together. I was the assistant conference coordinator.

I like how it combines two of my favorite things — Harry Potter and cats. She clearly thought very carefully about what to give me since it is just perfect. I call him “The Cat Who Was Squished” to sound like “The Boy Who Lived”.

This cat demonstrates how fantastic friendship is.

It is also great to have possessions that lead to reflecting on people’s kind behaviors.
