The Furies

A Poem

The Furies unleashed

Three sisters goddesses

Masters of justice rulers of vengeance

Retribution of the divine

Driven by the Furies

In pursuit of truth ruthless

The Furies of old

Were the gods outside of us

To be worshipped to be feared They are now archetypes within us

To be understood to be overcome

When there is balance within us

We reflect this back to the world

Without balance chaos ensues
