Don’t Get Discouraged. Stay in the fight
The First Month of the New Year is Over
Where Are You on Your New Year’s Resolution?

Where are you on your new year's resolutions? The first month of the year is over and here we are. Are you on the path to success or do you have to readjust a bit? If you are on track, great. Keep up the excellent t work. Track your progress. Try to do one step more, one set more, just a little more in whatever you are doing to make it work.
If you have fallen off track, don’t worry. Recalibrate. Refocus. Revisit your goals and recommit. Don’t worry about the end goal. Just take the next step that gets you one step closer to the end goal. You have 11 more months to win, and you are going to win.
There will be you and downs. There will be disappointments. There may even be a loss or two. Don’t let them throw you completely off track.

One of the biggest disappointments in life is a divorce. It’s a life event that no one recently married can even phantom experiencing. But statistics say 52% of all marriages end in divorce in 8.2 years. You don’t have to be a statistic — but follow me here.
Let’s say that someone you know falls into that category. Will they stop living? Will they give up all hope? Will they just turn over and surrender all life and future adventures? Hell no. Shit happens!
No one said it would be easy, but you have to get up in the morning, you have no choice.

And when you get up, or when he or she gets up, they must put one foot in front of the other. That’s all it takes. After several steps, they’ll be walking again. You must walk before you run. Why divorce? No reason. Choose your life event.
There is nothing that can happen to you that will prevent you from getting up in the morning. The only thing stopping you is you. You may not want to. You may not physically be able to. And this doesn’t diminish any sort of tragedy you may have experienced, but you still must get up — or at least wake up.
I’m not going to let you just lay there and be defeated.
Sometimes, we don't get picked. They sent three women home on Joe Millionaire in the last episode. The Kansas City Chiefs just lost the AFC Championship game to Joe Borrows and the Cincinnati Bengals. Boston, MA was dumped on with 27 inches of snow this weekend. They might not be able to go anywhere, but they have to get up.
So, revisit your goals. Stay the course. Refocus and make it happen. With your new resolve, you can accomplish the things you set out to do last month and get them done this month.
With February comes another chance for success. You have another opportunity to meet your goals or at least 1/11th of your goals. Last month, you had 1/12 of a change and now, one month is over. Don’t be discouraged. Stay in the game and achieve the resolutions you promised yourself you would achieve.
