The Feeling

Mental conflict or emotional turmoil? Follow your heart, Or trust your "rational"? Either way, I’m somehow lost.

Lost. Lost on this path, Or lost in my universe. The universe of desire, Or the eternity of frustration.

I’d rather lose myself, I’d rather decide my destiny. But lord, please give me a harness, So I don’t fall and transgress.

I try to put my palms together, I try to raise them to my chest. "Mashallah" I wish I could feel your blessings.

But do I pray for the ease, Or the chances for me to create it? It’s so easy to lose faith, The universe works in mysterious ways.

The tangible emotion - The Feeling is undeniable. I can’t comprehend this life, But I’m certain of its purpose.

Maybe knowledge is weakness, But I still search for the answers. So let me be grateful, For what I know to be your truth.

Is life to be chased, or just embraced? This is the essence of the human race. So give me the liberty to be free, Free to The Feeling.
